As we lament about our offense let’s keep this in mind..

Florida, Auburn, Alabama, Missouri, A&M and Kentucky are the top SEC defenses in the conference AND (with the exception of AL) these are our last 5 games and we played all but A&M after a bye week.

KY nationally is the lowest on that list in the SEC ranked at 26. LSU is tied for 36 and ranked behind TN.

Just sayin’.

NCAA Stats

Edit: corrected as A&M didn’t have a bye week. Lotta difference that would’ve made anyway....negative rushing dual threat QB losers.

Having to play 5 teams off a bye is a bigger deal than I think most people realize.

The only team I could find in recent history with that kind of schedule disadvantage was Alabama playing 6 opponents off a bye in 2010 (9-3).

Part of why I'm expecting a breakout.

Even with the Cager injury.

These young receivers have shown some real growth through this adversity. They're poised for something special, and our coaches should be trying to show them the payoff.

Target them and trust them. They'll make you proud.

Heard something to that regard on the Dawgcast so I was compelled to confirm through multiple deep sources and then further verify through in depth research before bringing it here.

Because you guys deserve this type of cutting edge analysis.

If you want to take it to the next level....look into how many minutes we trailed in all of these games combined.

You've already got my dick twitching.

Finish me off.

Please, if you have the time, sir.

That would be zero.

0

We have not trailed on the scoreboard since the end of the game against that team from Columbia SC that I will not name. Against the best defenses in the SEC.

Do you believe?

These are some juicy stats.

Would you mind if I steal them to troll the SEC Rant?

Feel free.

All BS aside I linked the defensive stats and did a quick review of the box scores before posting so before you go large you my want to check.

I’m not totally sure on the bye week but think that’s accurate.

Otherwise...bomb that motherfricker.

Or .... maybe they have highly ranked defenses because they got to play UGA, which made them appear stronger ??

Devils advocate and all ....

I think I'll pose it as a question, so it invites people to fact check it..... I think that will be the most vanilla way to run this post route for a TD.

At this point in the season, that would be irrelevant.

Rankings are current so you could make that argument...except we’re in the last week of the season and one game isn’t going to skew a whole seasons body of work.

Don’t you even stats bro?

Next.

I'm putting this together in my mind, we have one half of the equation. That half is that UGA offense isn't as bad as it seems. Every good story/truth needs two halves. What is the LSU side, something that shows some statistical weakness? Their defense obviously, but how good does their defense need to be when they're leading by 30 points? They are in a prevent for alot of the game. I have watched two whole LSU games this year and I don't see a weakness. What is LSU's statistical eminence front?

The only same opponents are AU and FL. They pounded FL but AU was within 3 pts.

Is the angle about how we don’t know how good this GA team can be against a mediocre defense? We don’t know because we haven’t played one as bad as LSU since SC.

The SC loss is a land mine that will go off in that discussion.

I think we have a good start.

We need to see what LSU does vs AnM and what UGA does against GT.

But this is good, thick, valuable shite we are playing with right now, and thank you for bringing it to the table.

Let’s hope A&M shows up.

LSU has been taking in a lot of rat poison lately.
