A, he played low class private high school ball. He was way bigger and more athletic than 95% of his competition. It’s hard to adjust from seeing basic, simple defenses with kids you know aren’t athletic enough to make certain plays to carving up college defenses, especially ours. He also spent all last year completely overhauling his throwing motion. He used to throw like Tebow, now he looks more like a regular QB. But doing that takes time and reps. Not to mention he came in an entire year behind Beck who played high class football in high school.

Which is why I said it’s not the end of the world

but it was hard to see him picking UGA with Stockton, BVG, and Beck on roster.

I mean… it’s not like Texas has scrub QBs on their roster compared to Georgia going forward.

Both his uncles played there too. And they seemed to adjust pretty well.

I would have been excited if he chose Georgia, but now that its settled I dont care. The Mannings are not Georgia people. Im a college football fan so i respect their legacy and am excited to see how it continues. But it never seemed right to me that a Manning would wear the red and black
