Yes, I'm well aware that it can cause a "widow maker" heart attack. Appointment this afternoon, with further testing already scheduled. 'm 65 and heart problems run throughout my family. My dad died of a massive heart attack when he was 60.

Hopefully its not blocked and if it is, they can successfully bypass.

Glad you are aware of your history and sounds like you are taking the right steps

yes! At age 63. Had two stints inserted and then started taking the nec. meds. Then promptly dropped 60 lbs and gave up red meat and lots of other crap esp. out of boxes and packages. Started exercise pgm. Doing better today than ever!

Good man. I bet it was tough, at least at first. I drink a lot of water, and have for many years. My problem is that I don't get enough exercise, and I need to tweak my diet. Those 2 issues are pretty easy (in my mind) to do. I do like a cold beer, and I guess I'm going to have to curb that habit a bit too. I'm a 65 year old disabled Veteran, so there are some mobility issues (not bad) that I'm going to have to work on.
