I have a bullmastiff wearing copper boots on a treadmill in my living room. Still nothing. Theres literally not a single fricking provider out here where I live. None of the cell carriers even get enough signal for Hotspot

And dont you dare say hughsnet. My brother in law has it and says its worse than prodigy. Elon musk has something cooking that I signed up to beta test at some point but god knows when that'll be available

I dont want to be one of those people who takes my tablet to mcdonalds for an hour every day

Come on gsb nerds. Gimme the loot

Are you getting any signal at all from the big carriers?

This is probably one of the better big carrier amplifiers...it ain't cheap though. There are some less expensive options but you won't get the same results.

Satellite internet sux, if your phone company can't provide, then find a network with good mifi coverage.

Obviously can't get good MiFi if this is the case. Its the reason I suggested the amplifier. It takes a little work on the install but would probably be best option.

Yes, in 2020, I don't know why internet still largely sux in many places.

Talk about a shovel ready works program.

Thanks ill look into that signal amp today. The shitty thing is I can literally see a t-mobile tower from the edge of our propert. Maybe 3/4 mile up the road. And we have sprint who is now supposedly pulling from their towers now. But my in laws up the road actually HAVE t-mobile and they don't get signal either, so maybe you can be too close to a tower?? Damn if I know

That Starlink from Elon is supposed to be unbelievable when he gets like 5000 satellites in the air. Right now I think its only 400. But when its global I think its suppose to shatter all the current speeds

But you're kind of screwed if youre sitting around waiting on elon musk

You might want to double check just to be make sure that it's T-Mobile

Very doubtful but possible.
Do you get full bars if you go a mile or so in other directions?

BTW,If you go the amp route just make sure
you get high quality lighting and surge protection. The company has excellent customer service and can guide you through
the process.

Verizon hot spot?

T-Mobile sucks balls in major cities; I can't imagine it working at all in rural America.

Congrats on the spawn, btw.

ETA: Might want to also post on the tech board.

I've been looking at this if we end up building out at our farm property like we’ve been considering. Ain’t cheap and I haven’t done a ton of research on them, but from what I can tell they have pretty good reviews.

Its 2020, rig, the gods of chaos have tendered their grip. Im the smug face goat lapping up dandelions. An easy wind blows across the bayou today

Maybe this one time I could hold the puritanical cadence if cat dick house flippers like you would let me #breathe. Im learning remedial home ec over here. Changed two shite diapers already. Never touched my wifes painkillers. Kratom and coconut water exclusively

Could of said nice looking child

Kids will definitely cause you to refocus. And that get up is impressive but pales in comparison to the utility of a good Boppy.

Don't know if you can Windstream, or not, it isn't great, but way better than satellite. The other option is Blazing Hog Wireless, which works off of cell towers. Since your cell signal is weak, where you are, you most likely will have to have that amplifying antennae. Once that is set, though, you should get good, fast signal.
