Anybody been to the Ga Fla bash at the Omni on Amelia

Wife and I are staying on Amelia UGA, Fla weekend and saw where the Omni has some kinda party Friday night. The Swingin Medallions on what they claim as the biggest pool deck in NE Florida. 27 bucks a ticket....anybody been? Gotta beat driving back from the riverfront playing dodge the law.

Yep. Had to get my buddy back to the room on a luggage dolly. There was actually a cop there breathalyzing people for the hell of it. There is also a tour bus you can ride to and from the game for around $100. Just DON'T forget exactly where it's parked.

Thanks Chili, sounds like a good time. Not staying at the Omni just on the island for the weekend. If we get a late start and don't get there till later in the afternoon were gonna try it. Get down early afternoon prolly head downtown to meet some friends who live in Jax.....friggin Auburn grads, asked em what trailer park.

We stay in Fernandina Beach every year. Will be there on Wed. afternoon...

we stay on Amelia every year..never been to the Omni, but there's plenty of bars in Fernandina that are fun to attend, especially with it being halloween.

Growing up, we had a place on the Plantation. Was even a ball boy for the women's Bausch and Lomb tennis tournament. I still have a crush on Gabriella Sabatini. Anyway, I've been to the Swingin' Medallions thing about 15 times for the WLOCP. Something about that band works the white wimmens into a tizzy. If you strike out there, you're either gay as AIDS or socially awkward like Rules.

will probably be there thursday and friday nights..might visit the Palace just for shits and giggles on Friday afternoon..never been to Dogstar Saloon but it looks like fun
