What world are you living in? If we win out and 2 undefeated a lose we go, period.
And did we not just beat the crap out of auburn?

This all I am saying Alapaha. Then I am done here.
UGA's goal is to climb the ladder in looking better than the teams above them. Get the style points just in case the teams above you faulter.

Unless any of the the other 3 undefeated teams above us lose ... it doesn't how matter how bad we beat an opponent, if they don't lose .. we ain't jumping them. Why is this so hard for you to understand? We could have won by 100 and it wouldn't matter ... the Ducks, KSU, and the Irish win ... we stay put ... no rocket science there.

Really? When? When has an undefeated team from a major conference ever been left out of the national title game in favor of a one loss team from another conference?
I'll be waiting.
Edit: I'll make this easy. 2004 Auburn and 2009 Cincinnati are the only undefeated teams from major conferences (and yes, the Big East blows but it still counts) left out, but in 2004 USC and Oklahoma were both undefeated and in 2009 Alabama and Texas were also undefeated.

Utah I believe. Don't laugh. That Utah team that beat Bama would beat this years K State and Oregon. 2008. I think it was.

Utah was Mountain West in 2008. Not a major conference

You are the one that put the Major Conference stipulation on it. I just said it has happened before. And I was right. Utah was a very good team that year. They stomped Bama in a bowl that year.

Well no kidding I put a major conference stipulation on it. My point is that one loss Georgia will never get in over undefeated Oregon, K-State or ND. It just won't happen. But if, say, Fresno State was undefeated, a one loss UGA team would get in over them without hesitation. That's how the system works.
If any of them do lose, UGA jumps them as long as they keep winning. As has been proven in the BCS time and time again, when you lose matters as much as anything. See 2007 West Virginia, Oklahoma State last year, Texas and Texas Tech in 2008, etc...

Rattle, all that matters at this juncture is winning. The only thing that will allow us to "Jump" the other three is if they lose. if/when they lose, the SEC will not be snubbed. They did that to Auburn in 04 because the conference hadn't had an opportunity to represent itself. Now that the SEC has 6 of the last 13 National Title games, they will not be jumped by another conference as long as we have enough wins to justify being there. All that matters now is winning the SECCG. The winner of the SECCG WILL play for all the marbles if, and only if, two of the remaining three unbeatens lose.

It tells me that they allowed 3 TD's. I see your point but UGA has other things to play for. Now if UGA had gone into this game with no chance of going to the SECCG they would have put a half a hundred on them. I'm glad to see the players more concerned about winning games than looking ahead to the NFL.

Meh, it seemed to me that bobo started getting VERY conservative about halfway through the 3rd. I think if we kept playing like we started that 75 wouldn't have been out of the question. But there really isn't a need to do that. Heck, lets say he did, and Auburn started playing dirty, like they do, and knocked out Murray/Marshall/Gurley for the tech or SECCG? Then what? Then everybody is pissed he kept the starters in to run up the score. I have no problem with what I saw yesterday.
