I know I brought the topic up, but I'm bored with it by now.

I hate bullies, and in my opinion pro-gun nuts are a bunch of bullies.

That's why I brought the subject up.

Why am I a bully because I own a gun? Do you know me? Do you know how I spend my spare time? Please, explain this (flawed) logic to me.

And here is what I said in repsonse to your last post in the thread that was moved, in case you didn't find it:

quote:

So having a gun is essential to your life because you can blow some imaginary person's head off, if they step into your house?

So you're imaginary? Who knew?!

quote:

What if this imaginary person who invades your house also has a gun and aims it at you before you can even get your gun?

If someone breaks into my home with a gun and I don't have one at all, how do you think that story ends? WITH one, I have a chance. I also know my home better than an intruder. Since you like citing so many random stories to support this strange interpretation you have, would you like me to list out all the stories in the past two months that support the idea of gun ownership saving the life and property of potential victims? And in those stories, again, how do you think the ending would have changed if the victims were not armed?

Let me help you get rolling on this one, Smilo:

Woman Defends Kids During Home Invasion - Loganville, GA

And please note...

quote:

Commenters have overwhelmingly agreed with the husband thus far– one Savannah Morning News reader even posting a similar story illustrating the importance of the woman’s firearm. In the other report, after an unarmed woman’s home was robbed, she was the one who ended up in the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.

As stated previously, Smilo....I'll take my chances with my gun in-hand.
