Did anyone get an explanation from the officials on why they ruled the way they did? ESPN went to a commercial while it was being reviewed, and came back just barely in time to see South Carolina snap the ball. Milton's knee was clearly down before the ball started coming loose and it was obvious on the replay, no it was even obvious in real time.
For those who were there last night, what was the crowd reaction like? I imagine they were mad as hell. That was a horseshite call

I think Kirby and Beamer decided to run the clock at somepoint as they kept winding the clock on out of bounds plays.
Likely no reviews in that situation. Just a guess.

Across-the-board, this was easily the worst weekend for SEC officiating that I can remember in a long long time.

It sure was, they took a down away from psu, the ref called the MSU punt down not to mention memphis had two #4s on the fiepd at once, and a bunch of hard to explain pi calls period.

This is exactly why they should not allow two players on the same team to wear the same number.

I was wondering the same thing about the "fumble" that certainly did not look like a fumble, at first glance.
Officials need to call a consistent game, no matter the score. The game of football demands consistency.
