GOD DAMN that's pitiful. Everyone else has 8 or nine with 20-22 Scholly's.... WTF people. Is it because we can't finish the drill?

Should end with around 7 or 8. Foster, Adams, Tunsil and Kamara. We also have a lot of impact players out of Juco.

Our class could end up being in the top 3 or so, yet you're complaining.

Espn's recruiting service sucks anyways. We have several JUCO players coming in, and 2 prep schoolers. We have a great class, lots of underrated players in it. And we aren't done. Chill out

Juco and prep are more college ready players. I don't see a problem with it.

Do you know how recruiting works? You don't just offer everyone and their brother, the biggest priority in recruiting is filling POSITIONS OF NEED. For example, it would be pointless for us to take 3 RBs in this class because we don't need them.

We desperately need help on defense, and we got that help in a big way with prep and JUCO guys. Our coaches don't give a flying frick what services rate these kids, we like them and we need them.

And as mentioned, we could close out with 4 or 5 absolute monsters. There's a month til signing day, getting overly excited or overly pissed until after it's over is pointless.

I agree with you to some extent...don't know the numbers of GA's prospects in the 150, or 100 on rivals or scout, but we should be nabbing and cherry picking from the home state left and right for the players we want and offer...no way would I have let RF, Carl Lawson, and RK get away being in-state...I know some say Lawson is a tweener, but there aren't any facts to support that, just theories, but elite 11 should be ripe for UGA's pickin every year, no doubt...this is partly our fault though, seeing as we haven't closed the deal in the SECCG in the past several years. I don't think recruits truly believe Richt and staff have the kahunas or aggressiveness to make a push for an MNC...I dunno, hope we can turn it around here soon and win a BCS MNC, we would definitely get all in-state number 1's, 2', 3's, etc. going forward

Why does this excite anyone when we have 30+ scholarships? How could we not be number 1? Juco and Prep included. Oh right, because we aren't getting shite. Pipe dreams fellas, pipe dreams. Good for us though we can maybe make the SECC and lose again..... the next couple of years.

Because we meet all our needs? Would you rather take the top 3 rated QBs and RBs all in the same class and bump our "star rating" up just to brag about on message boards?

How could we not be number 1?

It's a fricking arbitrary ranking. Think about that. People assign a number (5.8, 6.0, etc) to a kid and that determines what our overall class is ranked, and you put all of your stock in that. How bout did we get some CBs? Some safeties? Some DL? WRs? That's all that matters.

Oh right, because we aren't getting shite

So our class is shitty now? Have you even seen who we're getting?

What are you saying is a pipe dream?

There are only like 3 or 4 of you dawgranters that I actually respect, the rest of you should just hang it up for good.

Play makers make plays. If you are giddy with what we are getting you are one mediocre POS.

When your home state is a mecca for people to move to if they want to go South, that's not a reality. Atlanta is a transplant city, people don't have ties to UGA like they used to. Throw in the fact that Clemson, SC, UF, FSU, AU, bama, and UT are all within a few hours and it's simply impossible to get everyone in Georgia.

I guess SC can say the same thing about AJ Green and Prince Miller? Or Texas about Stafford? or UF about Murray, Orson, and Theus? Or NC about Marshall and Gurley?

My point is that some kids just have a school that they like and want to go to..that's the whole point of the recruiting process. Just because a kid resides in a state doesn't mean he's going to be in love with the home team. Everyone on this board grew up loving UGA and will always love UGA, but that doesn't mean everyone does.

If not then they haven't been watching recently. If someone could watch the SECCG against bama and not think we have what it takes I don't know what's wrong with them. Bama is in the midst of a dynasty and is about to win their 3rd NC in 4 years, and we were 5 yards and 10 seconds away from beating them. And as for kahunas, if I recall in the last 2 SECCGs we've successfully pulled of an onside kick and a fake punt against 2 of the best defenses in the country. Richt has been playing to win recently, and all it's gonna take is a player or 2 here or there to do it. If our run defense was just a TINY bit better this year, we're in Miami.

So you're saying we dont' have any playmakers coming in?

And Richt has been here for 12 fricking years, who do you think recruited every playmaker we've had this decade genius?

All I want in recruiting is to fill our needs. If we had 20 good OL on scholarship this year, I wouldn't be interested in Tunsil because that scholly could be put to better use. We needed serious help this year at S, CB, DL, and WR, and we filled all those needs in a big way. I don't know what else you could expect other than the top 2 players in the country at each of those positions, which is the very definition of unrealistic.

You must not have watched it...

350 Yards allowed rushing. Our defense has been atrocious all year. what are you talking about. A blocked punt and score kept it close.

I was there, were you? I saw us go toe to toe with the best team in the country for 60 minutes. What'd you see?

So don't you think getting some good DL and LB would help? Yes? Well guess what dumbfrick? We got a ton of em in this recruiting class including a few All Americans, and may not be done yet.

Well it's a damn good thing Ogletree played for us and not them then huh?
