I think you are on to something here.

Yea, he needs leaders on the floor to keep Cyril emotions in check, calm guys down so they are not just running up the floor and jacking up 3s when a team goes on a run. Seen it from Cain a little and Wilkinson a couple of times but they need to step it up with the leadership and talking to guys. Those two do it more with their play and seem like quite guys. They need to be speaking up more.

This team is not fools gold as others have said or remotely like any teams of the past. This team is extremely talented and deep but Wilkins and Stagg are freshmen. Wilkinson, Smurf and Catchings are all new. Really Cain and Cyril were the only two with meaningful minutes. When this team starts to gel they are going to be dangerous.

Nope. Not at all. Much better product and very good guards that would start for other teams. Been a while since we’ve been able to say that.

Yeah, the pieces are there. The defense has been awful as well as the rebounding. Good to see Catchings step up today and have an elite defensive game today. If he breaks out, we’ll be a legit threat. Also good to see Blue play with confidence in the 2nd half. Hopefully his 3 point shooting will come alive soon!

As frustrating as it was to watch them lose that lead with sloppy play, to right the ship and run away with it was fun to watch and encouraging to see the team’s leadership and grit grow

Very solid much needed win, the loss to Ole Miss hurts but this was a nice bounce back

Next 4 games

@ Mizzou
@ Texas
Tennessee
Texas A&M

If we can go 3-1 during that stretch we'll be feeling real good entering Feb6

dawg7730 conspicuously absent after a big win. Will undoubtedly be back on the next loss.

It's annoying that we are THIS close to being 4-1 and tied for the SEC lead but whatever. I guess if given the choice between loss to OM and W over Arkansas or the opposite, even though that scenairo would be chalky and more expected I'd probably take this one. Getting a ranked win is never gonna hurt you in March.

Man if we go 3-1 there just hand us a ticket to the dance already. That is a tough stretch. We don't play super great on the road and all 4 of those teams could make a case to be our equals in some capacity. In other words there aren't any SC or LSU's where you say "ok we're definitely better and should absolutely win". Honestly I'd probably expect 1-3 in that stretch but will hold out hope for 2-2.

When the schedules came out that was my first immediate thought as well since obviously we have played there for football baseball and basketball already. But they do also play in Athens this year so I guess it's sort of cancels out

It would help me to look at the schedule. I thought our home/away pairings were set in stone annually. Clearly not.
