Coleman wants $3M+. If they're throwing around that kind of money, I'd rather they'd spent it on an OT like Cantwell.

Kyle Carpenter 6'2 205 CB/WR went to Buford. This is a guy we could reach out to. Went to Colorado. Could end up playing in the secondary.

I would like to see Georgia go after a couple of these hybrid LB - Safeties. I really like players you can train at both and they can move between the two positions. They are really good at covering tes and rbs out of the backfield and still cover deep.

Zero action on the season at Colorado? Can’t see why he’d be a compelling take.

Haynes King didn't get playing time at aTm.

Jordan Thomas is yet another designated fat arse we signed who never worked out. We really really need to do a better job of signing two gap defensive linemen.

Since 2023

Bear Alexander
Shone Washington
Jamal Jarrett
Nasir Johnson
Jordan Thomas
Ogboko

Ogboko is and will be next year in the 2 deep rotation at NT. Nasir Johnson is still here and also a redshirt freshman. It takes time.

Bear Alexander was the only player on this list that was highly touted 5* out of high school. Most of these guys were 3*.

This post is a stupid take.

A QB is different than DB (only one QB gets meaningful snaps), and A&M is way better than Colorado. Colorado was horrible this year.

Why the weenie little know-it-all last sentence? Football isn't a science, and even it was, none of us our football scientists.

We've signed 6 or 7 run pluggers in the last 4 classes, and none of them ever cracked the 2 deep, and most aren't even here anymore. It doesn't matter how many stars they had. It matters if they can contribute for Georgia, and in the last 4 years we haven't signed a single 2 gap defensive lineman who has contributed for Georgia.

Feel free to name another position where this has happened.

Jordan Hall and Elijah Griffin don’t count? Both have started and are on the two deep at NT.

We didn't sign Elijah Griffin to eat up blocks and take up space. We signed him in hopes that he'd become the next Jalen Carter. Not the next Jordan Davis. Have seen and read a lot of Jalen Carter comps, but can't remember any Jordan Davis comps. Also, Jordan Hall also was supposed to be more Devonte Wyatt than Jordan Davis coming out of high school.

They both play NT and play the two gaps. They may be more like Carter but they are more than capable of doing both.

Christian Miller declared for NFL draft. Not necessarily portal but a big loss on the D-Line.

Coach Donnan has had a crush on Rashean Dinkins all season, and now The Film Guy is raving about him too. He already has Herschel Walker Neck, so that's good.

Without knowing who, what, when, where. What do we think is a realistic amount of portal adds for us? We typically have fewer holes to plug, but are light on talent in a few places. We likely will lose some bodies and lost a few last day recruiting battles. Are we going to sparingly pluck like 3-5 or are we in the add a batch of 10? I know we don’t pony up quite the quick bid money so our process is slower and more mature but I hate seeing people we had interest committing on day 1.
