Clark Lea is a good coach, but Pavia was a generational talent and is out the door, now.

They will revert to form, just like Georgia Tech without Haynes King.

The Vandy offensive coaching staff is legit. If you're Curtis, you're thinking that they just made Dollar General Johnny Manziel into the Heisman runner-up and think what they can do with me.

We only lost 5 players out of the 48 from our two-deep roster to the portal. How many teams in the nation can say that if any? I thought we were all feeling really good about our retention.

Say what you want about him, but Pavia was a baller. Other than his arm sleeve, I'm not seeing that in Curtis. He has Brock Vandagriff written all over him.

Curtis is like a giant Gunner Stocton who throws 65 yard passes off of one foot lol.

Kemon Spell. Now hopefully we have paid enough. Because we all know the bags of money are coming.

Probably a good thing that running backs don't fetch as much as some other positions and another team is less likely to make a retarded offer we wouldn't match.

Also, how is traffic on the Alcoa Highway today and also how is the Foot Hills Mall doing?

I didn't realize how good this kid is supposed to be until a few minutes ago. He's the highest rated running back in the composite rankings in the last 10 years and the second highest since 2009. Sheesh!

Alcoa highway is terrible as always. The mall is hanging in there. A couple of new stores seems to be helping.

That's good to know. If the Foot Hills Mall can hang in there, I believe that I can too!

Before NIL, even Mark Richt stated that recruiting really doesn't start until the player commits.

All this means is that the initial price has been set. He'll get bigger offers and I will be surprised if he signs with GA.

I’ll be willing to bet spell will not be going to uga. We simply don’t hold onto huge #1 recruits anymore at a position like qb, wr or rb

Definite possibility. I think our usage of Frazier this year will play a part. We started to lean on him more at the end of last year when Bowens was hurt. I also think Frazier turned a corner towards the end of last year as far as vision toughness and ball security. If we feed him like we should this year then Spell shouldn’t have any worries about not getting as many touches as he wants.

We and Penn state have been his top 2 for a while and maybe that’ll change but I at least feel better we’re not competing against a known deep pockets program. .

Another guy who was supposed to win Georgia a couple of national titles, but ultimately didn't even amount to a fart in a hurricane? That's getting to be a pretty big club.

I mean we lost raiola too. It’s a pretty small sample size but we’re not holding onto kids with these other schools dumping millions at them. Not saying that we can really help it. Just how it is

If he can be considered a "loss". Yes, on the one hand, he didn't play for Georgia, but on the other hand, he didn't play for Georgia. That kind of averages out to a win for us.

My wife went to Alcoa High back in the 80s. Her brother owns the house they grew up on off Louisville Rd.. About 1/4 mile from Green Meadows CC.

I agree. Even though Georgia did win a couple of national championships when Vandergriff was here, our coaches completely wasted his talent. Coming out of high school as the #5 QB in the composite rankings, Vandergriff was supposed to put the entire program on this shoulders. Kid showed what he could really do when he went to Kentucky though!

RB is way different from the other two from a $ perspective, so this has a better chance of sticking.
