Dawgs win, first ever series win in College Station and we will go for the sweep tomorrow
Vigue went 4 full, Scott came on in relief and tossed 100 pitches over 5 full. Anticipate Ishikawa starts tomorrow, still have Edwards, Jameson, and Farley in the pen. Could maybe even see Volchko come back in relief
Offense is on a tear right now, had a couple of wall scrapers that could’ve gone for 2 more tanks.

2/3 on the road in the SEC vs ranked teams is always a win. dont care about yesterday

Sunday was pretty clearly A&M exercising a lot of frustration against a bunch of guys getting in work on the mound and in the field. They can score as many runs as they want in that 1 game but it won’t change the fact that we emphatically took 2/3 on the road.
My big concern right now is:
1) what happened to Phelps? Played 2B in games 1 and 2 and then left game 3 early without any explanation or obvious issue. Maybe just arm soreness? We need his bat in the lineup to stay successful
2) Ishikawa needs to get his confidence back. He has the stuff, just not slinging it like he should off the injury.

Starting to question if we’re ever gonna win a midweek game again.
7-0 KSU in the 7th. For whatever reason, we can’t pitch and we can’t hit midweek

Ended up losing 10-7. I'm sure 3 errors didn't help matters.

Kennesaw State might be the second best athletic program in the state. Impressive.

This is simply a dumb take. Beating us in a midweek game 10-7 does not move their program ahead of Georgia or Georgia Tech. Sorry.
As for the series this weekend, we really should sweep this terrible South Carolina team at home…taking 2 in impressive fashion is a must. Should be beautiful baseball weather Saturday and Sunday
Go Dawgs

Conference champion their first year in CUSA football. Conference champions in basketball and played better than we did in the tourney
More accomplishments than anyone else in the state bedside UGA over the past calendar year.
Youre a dumb take

You're really going to say that winning CUSA in football and basketball is better than being ranked in the top 25 in football and top 5 in baseball? If so, perhaps we should start a new thread for this discussion.

Yes. The season doesn't come down to a snapshot. Ksu in second year of D1 football and wins the conference. Tech had their best roster and pissed down their leg to miss a conf champ game.
Now, back to the seam talk

A CUSA title is worth more than being ranked in the top 25?
