Tech got their first loss of the year from Georgia State last night
Arkansas, LSU, Oklahoma, and UCLA all lost as well

Yep, baseball is tough. Lot's of games and it's difficult matching up with every team with your rotation.
And sometimes your hitting is just off or you are just up against a hot pitcher.

I went to the doubleheader today. Lots of fun, great weather, the Dawgs played great. First game was packed, second game thinned out a good bit. Good day to be in Athens. Lots of activity all over campus.

No surprise, Dawgs stay at 11 in D1 rankings after losing midweek and demolition Oakland all weekend. Southern Miss deserved to jump us to enter the top 10 IMO.
Another Interesting midweek game vs Kennesaw State on Tuesday. Playing another instate team midweek. Hopefully we do better this week against a mediocre KSU team that lost to Florida and West Virginia earlier this year…they did beat Georgia Southern though

I realize I’ve been mostly MIA these past few games; was at a bachelor party out of state so my own watching capability was limited.
Completely forgot we have 2 midweek games this week and then another 4 game tilt this weekend vs Queens. And then nothing at all next week before Tennessee. Which is kinda weird seeing as UGA spring break isn’t until next week but then I guess Wes does like to reset the staff before conference play and then again before postseason so it’s not totally out of left field.
Side note on KSU: Georgia southern is abysmal this year, sitting at 2-9 with a -74 run differential

My brain was thinking Georgia State, when I read KSU's schedule, who just beat Tech last week to end their unbeaten streak. I was just too lazy to go back and edit it after lol

Nice to see KSU in their new digs. It’s still very much so a G5 level park but it at least looks much nicer with a turf field, press box, etc
