Still think we need to complete the sweep and take 2/3 at Bama to feel good but, yeah, 40 overall wins and 15+ SEC wins with the a top 5 SOS and the the #1 RPI is pretty hard to deny

If I read that to you as a blind resume, you’d put that team in the top 3

But you know UGA baseball and our weaknesses more than anyone, so you got some skepticism in you ;)

Honestly my skepticism simply lies in there being too many SEC teams inc intention for a national seed. We’re in a good position but I’m always wary of giving the committee a reason to tell us no. Sweeping this weekend and winning 2 on the road in TTown would go a long way toward cementing our spot

- Burnett strikes out looking
- Branch flies out to left in a good swing. Wind blowing in hard from left today, ball seems like it died in the air

Someone talk me off the ledge here because I know I’m overthinking and probably asking too much but We are probably going to sweep Mizzou but is anyone unhappy with the last month of play , I mean here we are probably about to be 39-11 a ranked seed But with how play has been lately but here I am thinking this could be all end not getting out of our own regional .

We are excellent at home and sleep walk on the road. Don’t know why, we just can’t generate any juice when we go on the road. Hence it is crucial that we are a national seed and insure home field advantage in Regionals and hopefully Supers.

Teams with power lefties are a problem for us. Pitchers who attack the top and bottoms of the zone with heat are an issue for us.

Our pitching has improved but is still probably middle of the road in the SEC (which is still pretty damn good nationally).

We need Zabo in the lineup if for no other reason than the threat he represents (even though he’s been cold lately).

I wouldn’t draw conclusions positive or negative from this series; neither team seems to want to be here for different reasons.
