Wes needs to stick all the pitchers in a sauna for an hour a day this week. Always hot in hoover, either get used to it or dry out all the Busch light these kids are pounding.

Wes needs to rethink his offensive analytics. Coggin hs no answer for a good lefty arm. It’s just an automatic L

Updating the OP to reflect the soon to be loss so i don’t forget later. As embarrassing a game as we’ve had this year and of course it comes at the time when you want to see us trending upward, not getting our shite shoved in

Seems like lifeless losses. No fire. Almost like we conceded it.

Almost feels like we are missing some senior leadership to get the guys going. Inconsistent play will bite us if that continues.

Zabo back in the lineup today. But now Burnett is missing for 2nd straight game after coming up limp late in Thursdays game.

Finely gives up 2 hits in the 1st but strikes out the side with no damage done

6 strikeouts for the Dawgs so far through 3. 2 looking, 4 swinging

We’ve reached in every inning - a double, a walk, and an HBP - and stranded the runner every inning

Still 0-0

Looking like we will play Oklahoma or Kentucky at 1:30 on Wednesday

If we win, would advance to play Vandy

Wouldn’t be surprised if we actually end up ahead of Vandy or LSU, too, in the seeding.

Weird year. Tech won the ACC (I shite you not) and is a fringe host team

If they don't host would they come here as a 2? That would be kind of a shite draw for us

Seems like they’re going to be a lower seed host but I think even if they weren’t, they wouldn’t be sent here 2 years in a row. Seems like we are most likely going to get Duke or Wake since Tech and Clemson are likely to be hosts. The worst case scenario is we get UVA

Latest D1 projections hve us as the 5 seed, hosting Wake, ETSU, and Holy Cross. Would play the winner of the Clemson regional

I’d like to stay away from the NC schools and ACC in general. Something about regionals and supers that they tend to do well.

Oddly agree, but the team leaders need to man up. Stop swing at shoulder high fast balls and sometimes just making good contact with a ball opposite field can score a bunch of runs.

Unfortunately our only options are really Wake, Duke, or NC State. Committee likes to keep teams relatively regional and we can’t host another SEC squad so we’re kinda stuck with ACC teams from NC. Only other option would be Louisville
