I’ve dog cussed Hunter for weeks now. Major props to him for stepping up like senior leaders do when the chips are down.
Can’t believe we won that game and the series. So much to clean up but this could be the weekend that ignites a run if we take from it what we should.

Dawgs move back into the top 5 for D1Baseball. Baseball America and Perfect Game each have us at #3.
Tech up to #14 for our Tuesday game, Vandy still in the top 20 for this weekend. Next two weeks are going to be a challenge with midweeks versus Tech and Clemson but we are definitely on the downslope of our schedule.
Going to guess we split the Tech and Clemson games, take KSU, take the Vandy series, take Oklahoma series, lose the Bama series, sweep Mizzou, take A&M series.
Puts us at 44-12, 20-10 for the regular season which will absolutely have us as a Top 8 seed and possibly a top 4 in Hoover

They did a bunch of Masters themed graphics for the series this weekend on their social media.
I don’t think it was really a troll of us but it did kinda suck seeing a school nowhere close to Augusta make a big deal about the weekend and we didn’t say or do hardly anything about it

He’s not a fan of it. Now maybe the new format changes his opinion on it since it is going to single elimination the whole way through. But generally speaking, he would rather prep for a Regional than bother with the tournament.

It makes sense to change that format. If you win the regular season championship, that should be the trophy you want.
These long conference tournaments seem to be an unnecessary burden on your pitching staffs.
