Why is Smith not our Friday starter? Goldstein has not been impressive at all.

Smith has been much better in long relief than as a starter this season. There’s a likelihood that he may be backbin the starting rotation for Arkansas or Vandy.
Wes is playing the long con with both he and Goldstein right now as both are getting a little better every time they go out there. Belief is that they may both be SEC caliber starters by the time we get to mid-May but they’ve been dealing with different things tht have hampered them.

Yeah gonna be interesting to see if we stick with our approach next time through the order. Feels like best offense right now may just be trying to stay alive for as long as possible and run PC up

SEC umps have long shown favoritism to a good pitcher. If you show that you’ve got command, they’ll help you out in the margins. Or you look like you’re just trying to get lucky, they’ll punish you.
