In the grand scheme, it shouldn’t matter. We got swept at Kentucky last year and were in way worse position against a harder schedule down the stretch and still made it as a top 8 seed.
But we’ve gotta internalize what we can from this one and improve. We are striking out at an alarming rate and guys are starting to slump. Pitching has to nut up and be done working on itself

We aren’t there yet there’s no sugar coating it even LSU. Came in and got a win. We are behind Texas Tennessee Arkansas and LSU hell dare I say even Alabama and Oklahoma right now and if Florida wasn’t dogshit this year we’d probably be behind them too

I think y’all are overreacting to a road series, on a big field, with the wind blowing in, against an above average pitching staff..
Even despite all that, you were right there most of the series.. we got some lucky breaks and took advantage., that’s baseball
I still think Georgia is a Top 5 team. It’s impossible to rank them on a neutral field in warmer weather.
1 Arkansas
2 Georgia
3 LSU
4 Tennessee
5 Texas
All 5 could claim all of those spots.. It’s also early.. get hot at the right time and anything can happen..

In other news, I’m going to GA vs Hogs game on Friday. I’m sitting in the new RF seats and I have an extra if anyone wants to go.
