I would say we are better right now than I expected. We have put up some good numbers which still puts us in the middle of the pack in the SEC as far as stats go.
If we stay healthy and can hit like this off SEC pitching…we will win some series.
It’s just tough to say right now because the rest of the SEC is so damn good.

Agreed on all points.
Dawgs win it 18-9 and saw pretty much the whole starting lineup pulled by the 5th. I’ll be shocked if we don’t sweep these guys but that should mean that we can play a lot of freshmen and bench players this weekend which will be necessary as we head into the actual meet of the schedule. Won’t hurt to pad the record either.

I’m just impressed with the the bats and runs we have been getting and the GT series win that we got we keep this up we will be just fine

Through 14 games, we are averaging a score of 11-6. Certainly bodes well offensively but giving up 6 runs a game is a fine way to die in SEC play. We won’t put double digit runs on every team we play.

Luke Wagner comes in to close it off for the Dawgs. He gives up the combo no-hitter on one hit, but preserves the shut-out victory in 7 innings.

Crisp strikes out the side in the 2nd. Georgia comes to bat still tied 2-2 thanks to a 2 run shot by Condon in the first.

Crisp gets into some trouble and is replaced by Greenler. Dawgs down 2-4 as we go to the bottom of the 3rd.
