- 3 run bomb
Woods has now given up 4 runs on 2 hits and 2 walks but still in there
- And a 4 pitch walk FINALLY ushers in a new arm. Gowen coming in, piss poor outing for Woods
- Carolina called for interference on a failed turned double play. I’ll take that bail out

Dawgs win it 13-9, take the series
Gowen was spectacular, giving up 1 run on 3 hits and 6 Ks in 3 full innings
Sully looked equally as good to leadoff the game. Middle innings were an ugly affair with Woods posting a bad showing today.
Offensively, we scored 13 with 13 hits and only left 7 on. Rogers paced the day with 5 RBI.
We’ve got KSU midweek and a big Thurs-Sat series with A&M this weekend!

We just can’t find health or consistency.
I honestly can’t explain how this team is where it is. They’re going to have to prove me wrong but I think we get destroyed in Hoover and beyond; we just aren’t equipped to compete in a tournament format with these arms as they are.
Lost Ross and Childers for the year which really fricked us up but even if both Cannon and Sully return for the remainder of the year, Brown and Wagner are liabilities on the mound. Crisp and Bearden have looked decent of late but neither have gone more than 3-4 innings. Willis throws like a talented freshman. Woods is usually reliable but as today showed, even he is going to stink up the joint some days.

Throwing 95 but his location is worse than Browns which I didn’t know was possible at this level of the game
