And a single scores 2 more

Caldwell does exactly the opposite of his job and any hope for a comeback is all but gone

11-6 Cocks

13-7 cocks the final

Brown, Wagner, Polk, Caldwell, and Willis combined for 11 walks and 3 wild pitches with 8 hits on the day.

Offense left 6 on base including 5 in scoring position.

All around piss poor showing, even accounting for the attempted comeback.

We will try to win an SEC road series tomorrow with Sullivan starting for the first time in a month (on a pitch count).

Dawgs explode in the 1st inning of Game 3

5-0 on back to back base hits to drive in runs and a Chaney Rogers 3 run blast

Long, long way to go in this game. We’ve started out with similar leads against Southern and Kentucky only to blow them but I’ll take the fast start over the slow offense we saw the past 2 days

New pitcher for Carolina
- Leadoff HBP for Rogers

- Wild pitch, runners advance
- Acton doubles to center! Rogers scores, 2 RISP with nobody out
- Anderson walks, bases loaded
- Pitching change for Carolina
- Cole Tate strikes out looking. Loaded, 1 away
- Collins strikes out swinging. 2 away
- Wild pitch, Gonzo scores
- Connor Tate intentionally walked. Loaded with 2 away

- JMac grounds out to end the inning

3 runs score but we leave them loaded. JMac missed a granny by only a few feet at the right field foul pole.

Cocks break up the no hitter bid for Sully in the 4th. Kind of surprised he’s back out there after that long top half and given that he’s on a pitch count

Can’t even begin to recount what just happened. Ultimately, it’s a hit for the Cocks and there are 2 on with nobody out.

Marsh on for Sully

Base hit, bases loaded with nobody out

Fielders choice at 2nd, run scores

Cocks steal, Marsh gets a K swinging. 2 RISP, 2 out

Strike 3 swinging! Marsh only allows the 1 run in a bases loaded, no out situation

Sully finishes the day with 3 full innings, 4 Ks, 2 hits, 1 BB, and 1 run. A really stellar return from a month away

8-1 Dawgs Through 4

Got to a tv about 20 minutes ago and turned it on to see us up 8-1. That was sure a welcome surprise considering our play the last few games. Is sully gonna be back more in the rotation next weekend?

Yeah, he’s going to resume starting full time next weekend. Just in a pitch count today given that it’s his first game back in a month

Do we know what days he'll start? I'll be at the Saturday game in Tuscaloosa so it'd be cool if he was pitching
