We are doing everything we can to lose this one. We get thrown out by a mile at home with one out and the batter just gets to first.

Acton, right on cue, strikes out trying to bunt.

S. Carolina should have gone home, it would not have been close. Dawgs lead.

Dawgs win! 3-2 the final in an ugly nail biter of a game, absent our ace.

As mentioned, Crisp had another really solid outing, going 4 full and keeping us intact. Offense sputtered but scored when they had to.

Gowen did a great job closing them out in succession.

Try to take this thing tomorrow afternoon!

VERY happy with this win. Glad we didn't waste some outstanding pitching. Heartbreaker for the Gcocks.

A leadoff walk, a double, a fielders choice, a wild pitch, and another walk.

Brown reverting to form. Sigh.

2-0 Cocks through 2

Finished the day having gone 3 1/3 innings with 2 runs on 3 hits, 4 walks, and 1 K

HBP and then a wild pitch scores 2 more

5-0 Cocks

If Saturday means I have to watch Brown and Wagner bumblefrick their way through innings, I’m going to start taking these games off.
