- Brown starts the game with a 4 pitch walk. Awesome.
- And then a 3 pitch strikeout swinging. I don’t understand
- Nice bunt and Harber panics and boots it. Painted corners with 1 away
- Balk. Runners advance, scoring a run
- Strike out swinging, runner takes 3rd on the throw down to 1st. 2 away
- G5-3 to end the inning

A walk, a balk, an infield single, and a throwing error amount to Kentucky’s first run.

This pitching staff gives me heartburn.

1-0 Cats through 1

- Wagner walks
- We get 2 outs somehow (missed it and the Live Stats function isn’t working this weekend)
- Acton walks
- Anderson reaches on a fielding error at 2nd
- JMac belts one to the wall in left, hops over for a ground rule double. 2 runs score
- Collins walks to load the bases
- Tate rips one to right, 2 more score
- Harber pops one into no-man’s land in right, nobody calls it and the ball drops to allow 1 more to score
- Wild pitch, Tate scores from 3rd
- Wagner grounds out up the middle to end the inning

6 runs score and the UK starter is at 64 pitches through 2

6-1 Dawgs in the 2nd

- P4 in shallow right
- Solo line drive bomb to left
- Base hit to left. 1 on, 1 away
- 4 pitch walk. 2 on, 1 away
- Bloop to left. 1 run scores. Painted corners with 1 out
- Infield fly to 2nd. Corners with 2 away
- and one more pop out to Acton to retire the side

Brown is at ~40 pitches through 2. Not sure if that’s a good thing or not but we need him to go at least 3

6-3 Dawgs through 2

- L5, 2 away
- G3 retires the side

6-5 Dawgs through 3

Garrett Brown might be the worst weekend starter in UGA history.

Shows how sorry our starter depth is. Once Ross and Childers went down and with Sully out, we are dead in the water behind Cannon

We are frickED come tournament time. I’ve seen nobody else besides Cannon come close to demonstrating they can be relied upon for even 4 innings, let alone an actual start

UK pitcher at 75+ pitches. Need to get to him here.
- Leadoff single to right for Anderson
- JMac pops up to left. 1 on 1 away
- Collins flies out to right center. 2 away
- Tate flies out to right

Piss poor job by the top of the order to hit a guy who has not only thrown a lot of pitches but who had been sitting for a while

6-5 Dawgs in the 4th

- Spikes hits into a fielders choice, 4-3.

- Strikeout swinging for Wagner
- Base hit to right. Rogers almost snags it but does just enough to save a potential double
- 5 pitch walk. 2 on, 1 away
- Wild pitch, runners advance
- Wagner gets the hook, Chandler Marsh coming in
- Marsh throws two pitches and walks them loaded
- HBP, run comes in
- And a walk scores another
- And another HBP
- Marsh gets the hook 3 batters too late. Polk coming in with his 9.35 ERA and 1-4 K/BB ratio
- Fielders choice scores a run, second runner thrown out at home to end the inning

Kentucky has scored in all 5 innings

10-6 Cats through 5

Are these SECN or UK announcers?

Just called him Chancey Rogers.

They’re SECN announcers who typically cover all the UK games (we have a similar crew)

Yeah I’m done watching this game. This pitching staff is utter trash and I’m shocked we have won 18 games to this point

Yeah, this is frustrating as hell. All of a sudden we can't hit for shite after plating 6 in an inning. Pitching is just giving free base after free base, run after run. Ugh!

To be clear, we plated 6 because Kentucky shite all over themselves in the field and on the mound for one inning.

We just aren’t a very good team, in part due to injury and in part to just not being very good. We should’ve turned a corner after last years growing pains and we have gone from a bubble team to a 2-3 seed in the tourney (assuming we don’t get any worse)

Well, we got UK 1-2-3 in bottom of 6th with 2 bang bang plays at 1st.

Still down 10-6 to top 7th.
