Crunched some numbers:

Our non-con opponents we have faced are a combined 55-70 (.400) so far this year with Kennesaw State sitting at a respectable 15-8 and Ga State sucking absolute arse at 5-20.

Meanwhile, our two conference opponents are a combined 38-13 with Tennessee leading the NCAA in wins at the moment.

Main takeaway to me is the KSU loss isn’t that bad in hindsight and the Tennessee series loss isn’t either. But blowing the 2nd game against A&M and that first game against UNF really suck (FWIW Evansville is 12-11 so while not a good loss, that first game isn’t terrible either)

Dawgs go fly out, ground out, fly out in the top half of the 1st

Goldstein gets the first batter swinging, flies out the next, but exhibits his control issues yet again as he gives up a 2 out single and a walk before getting bailed out by a nice catch to save a bases clearing double by Connor Tate.

0-0 through 1

Freshmen arms have been frustrating but this team is going to be stacked for next couple of years as they even it out. It’s just painful to watch right now

We are 0-6 with RISP tonight, bringing our 4 game total up to 5-35. We have a 13 fricking percent chance of scoring a run when we get into scoring position. Unreal.

Tip of the hat to the pitching staff.

A combined 5 hit shutout, the first shutout Clemson has suffered in 3 years

Can someone explain to me why we are incapable of driving in RISP? Like I need a logical explanation.
