Didn’t get to watch today but listened on radio. Sounds like pitching was excellent for 8 innings and fell apart in the 9th when (by Stricklins own admission) he left Jaden Woods in too long and Liam Sullivan had to clean up a mess that ultimately led to the game being tied.
Cannon sounded sharp but the weird 30 minute delay because the home plate umpire had to quit the game after getting hit with a foul tip ultimately screwed Cannon out of another inning.
Still found a way to win in extras and sweep a second series heading into conference play. Sounds doubtful that the Wofford game will happen due to weather so this win puts on a 6 game streak heading into the Tennessee series.
