Hope we get these guys, but I am going to be very skeptical until we get some letters.
I would be very careful about going to other boards (Recruiting) and talking about us getting all these players. We ended up with a lot of egg on our faces last year, and all we have this year is a lot of guesses and insinuations. It is best to play it low key and be pleasantly surprised, imo.

He'd be crazy not to. He's likely a first round pick, or an early second round at worst from some mocks I've seen. He's also a RB, and their careers are short enough as is. Look at Gurley and Michel, both with arthritic knees. Chubb had a devastating knee injury. Keith Marshall tore an ACL and so did Gurley. Zeus tore an ACL in each knee. He needs to go and get paid while he can. Coming back to UGA does nothing for him except be a huge risk to his future.

I know we've all had a good chuckle reading the LSU recruiting board, but for dessert go check out the last 3-5ish pages of bama's pinned recruiting thread. There is so much hatred towards kirby it's laughable. For years and years and years people laughed at UGA for not signing better classes, now we do and obviously it's impossible without herculean amounts of cheating. They truly hate kirby over there, which is kind of strange considering we haven't beaten them or accomplshed what they have during his time here. You'd think they'd view him more as a pesky gnat flying around your ear at a picnic but nope, they basically look at him like teh scum of the earth. One particularly enjoyable quote claimed that we have "repriced the market" on recruits once kirby got here lol. It's even funnier considering he's not doing anythign different here than he did for practically a decade under saban. Apparently kirby just learned how to cheat in 2016 once he left the sanctity of tuscaloosa..

Bama folks don’t want to admit it, but Kirby had a lot to do with their ability to live off ridiculous amounts of talent. He may be unrivaled as a pure recruiter. Look at how their program has been trending since he left. It’s been a slow decline, but you can absolutely see that the wealth is suddenly getting very spread out versus all of it just siphoning straight into Tuscaloosa. I don’t believe that’s a coincidence. Saban isn’t the mastermind people think he is, at least not on his own.

I think Swift has been gone for some time now. I’m curious to know if Evans and some of these other offensive guys have been let in on the fact that the offense WILL change.
