Glad we are finally waking up against this vastly inferior opponent. We need to put up double digits this game.

Feel for UMass. Think they said their first 18 or 19 games are all on the road. They’re not going to have a good record no matter how inferior or on par they actually prove to be

Thats just the nature of the beast in college baseball. All northern teams are put in that situation. Nothing you can do unless you start the season in March and go until July 4th.

Last weekend, Navy put up 31 runs in 25 innings against UMASS. Hopefully, we can surpass that.

After seeing that left fielder miss that fly ball, I just want it to stop now.

Kinda how I felt last night after we took the lead against the relief pitcher for UMass. You could tel he was nervous as hell, being from Georgia and playing with probably all his friends and family there. And we shelled the kid.

Yeah. I was just advocating scoring, but seeing that kid just flat out miss that ball, quickly changed my mind. We need a 7 inning agreement. Those kids are ready to go today.

Usually, these home state kids kill us. Was it Duke two years ago that had that pitcher from Atlanta that dominated us out of nowhere?

Jesus, yes. And Trey Harris was a dick to us for Mizzou. And Furman or Wofford or Mercer usually have some kid who either throws 100+ pitches only yielding 2 hits or gets 2 jacks in a game against us

Wilcox goes 5 full with 6 Ks, 4 hits, 1 unearned run, and no walks.

Jack Gowen comes on in the 6th and nets 2 Ks in a 3 up 3 down frame

16-1 Dawgs in the 6th

Dawgs win it 16-2, take the series and improve to 13-2. Cole Tate went 4/6 and the pitching staff turned in 12+ Ks
