So for those who won’t get said notes because they signed up too late for this mornings edition, how about some cliffs?
I'll do some copy/paste things on some highlights. It was 40 pages long, so I'm not going to give all of it, and some of it was repeat stuff anyway. Give me a few minutes.

On Nolan Smit. Just a teaser, as it really doesn't go into a lot of detail but:
Nolan Smith II is a 5-star defensive end from Savannah, Ga., and he’s ranked as the nation’s No. 1 overall prospect by one of the major recruiting services. Most importantly for Georgia fans, he’s committed to the Bulldogs.
However, everything might not have turned out the same if Mark Richt was still UGA’s coach.
Smith is finishing out of his high school career at Florida’s IMG Academy, and he made some candid comments this week that generated some attention. Smith told Bradenton.com’s Jason Dill on Wednesday that his first visit to Georgia as a high school freshman did not go very well.
“I didn’t like it (the visit to Georgia) … I hated it,” Smith recalled on Wednesday.
The reason? Per the Florida website, it was because of Richt.
He was UGA’s coach at the time of Smith’s visit in 2015. Richt, of course, is now the coach at Miami.

Again, just a teaser...on Clay Webb:
Clay Webb (Oxford, Ala./Oxford), the nation's No. 1 center, is returning to Athens. The 6-foot-3, 295-pound offensive lineman told Dawgs247 on Thursday that he will be at Georgia this weekend for the Sanford Stadium renovation reveal.
This will be Webb's third visit to Georgia this year. Webb was in attendance on April 21 for the G-Day spring scrimmage, then returned on June 14 for camp. While Alabama has been mentioned prominently in Webb's recruitment, Georgia is right there with the Crimson Tide because of the Bulldogs' offensive line coach.

On Savion Williams:
(Teaser)
The nation's top junior college defensive tackle is currently visiting Georgia. Savion Williams (Lackawanna Community College; Scranton, Pa.) tweeted "Athens, Georgia, on Thursday, indicating that he has arrived for his planned unofficial visit and camp workout.
He tells Dawgs247 that he will leave on Friday evening. UGA is holding a prospect camp on Friday, giving Williams an opportunity to assert himself as a major target with a strong performance.
The 6-foot-4, 315-pound run stuffer made it known earlier this month that he would be in The Classic City on July 26 and 27. He holds 10 reported offers at this time and saw his recruitment blow up during the late spring and early summer, adding tenders from Temple, North Carolina State, Pitt, Nebraska, West Virginia, Tennessee, and Georgia.

All are teasers as it would be too long to post it all. I am thinking since the newsletter is free it is okay to repost on here. However, if it is not, then feel free to delete, Lew.
This is on Darnell Wright:
Georgia has made the cut for one of the nation's top overall prospects. Huntington (Huntington, W.V.) offensive tackle Darnell Wright tweeted his top 10 on Thursday and it included the Bulldogs among two other SEC programs, four from the ACC, two from the Big 10, and one from the Pac 12.
UGA is joined in the SEC ranks by Alabama and Tennessee. Clemson, Florida State, Miami, and North Carolina also made the cut along with Ohio State, Penn State, and USC.
There's a chance Wright could make to Athens for the first time this coming weekend for UGA's big recruiting reveal. The Bulldogs will be showing off their new Sanford Stadium locker room and recruiting lounge to their top targets. Wright told 247Sports at The Opening Finals in Frisco, Tex. that he could visit the Bulldogs then.
Bulldog offensive line coach Sam Pittman has made the 6-foot-6, 315-pound prospect a priority and has UGA in the thick of things for his signature.
"He says when I get to Athens I will fall in love," Wright said recently. "He has made me a priority and he cannot wait to show me around Georgia. He wants me to play left tackle for them."

I hate to keep copying and pasting. If anybody wants to get today's newsletter, post your e-mail address and I will be happy to forward it. There is a bunch of other stuff, including an article about a projected 2019 class, and where it would place us Nationally, etc.

There appears to be a link to download a .doc version of it in the Richt/Pruitt thread right now. Not sure if that's a no-no either, but was nice to get a hold of since I only just signed up today.

Clay Webb is in Clemson as we speak to attend their "cookout". Hopefully he leaves afterwards to Athens.

It's free, so I think it is okay, but I hated to keep copying and pasting. Some people would probably get upset.
I'm glad you were able to get signed up. It really is interesting and has a ton of information. basically it takes all the articles on the sites and puts them in one place. Some are on the same subject, and can be skimmed through, but most are interesting have some insight. I always look forward to it....but sometimes it can be a little spotty. It's been pretty consistent the last couple of weeks, though.

Day trip to Clemson. Will be at UGA tonight and staying for the reveal tomorrow.
Bama/UGA battle. Bama favorite for now but decision not coming until December. Don't think Clemson or Auburn are factors at the end.

So was it ever said as to why Nolan Smith didn't like Richt and why he hated his trip as a freshman to UGA?
Would love to hear the specifics on this.

Tyrique Stevenson on campus all weekend with family. I’d guess Kirby will try to close it out this weekend
Posted on 7/27/18 at 7:44 pm to Crowknowsbest
Tyrique’s best friend is Divaad Wilson, so there’s that. He’s been pointing to December as a potential commit date but told the 247 guys recently he could make a decision soon. It’s between UGA and Miami IMO

I'm guessing it was CMR's lack of an aggressive approach in recruiting, especially early on in the process.

It doesn't really say. The article was a lot of speculation and skipped from talking about Nolan Smith to talking about Deshaun Watson. It almost seemed like a fan who was still mad at Richt about losing Watson to Clemson, and decided to go after Richt.
Here is the article that the newsletter article guy took his information from, but he added a little bit to it.
