All I keep hearing is that he is severely underrated
His Senior film will dictate his final ranking. If you’re looking for a comparison, think Christian Barmore of Alabama. UGA and Bama offers got him attention and he ended up in the top 200. Logue will be a top 247 player by December.
Logue has gained close to 40 lbs since his Jr season. He has quick feet and is strong as an ox. He could put another 20-30 lbs on his frame.

There are those on this board who are (legitimately) concerned about his height, though.
247 shows him as 6-6,287.
Eta. Maybe you're/they are thinking he's too tall.
Which is probably why you said he needs to stay low.

Rankings evaluators say he's a little stiff which is why he is ranked where he is. Highly unlikely he jumps much but if he can hit the top 250 that would be cool.

Just reporting what Ryan Callahan (247 Tennessee) and Kipp Adams (247 UGA) said. I’ve read he is light on his feet, strong point of attack with his hands, but raw technique. I haven’t read that he is stiff but I’ve never seen him play either.
Rusty Mansell said that during his 2nd workout at UGA, it was off limits to the media. He said Logue’s senior film will dictate his final ranking but to think Barmore.

Logue is classic example of a 17 YO kid hitting a growth spurt. 6'3" 240 kid with decent mobility is a 3* DL. 6'6" 285 kid coming into his senior year displaying maintained agility on the camp circuit becomes a fast riser.
I also think he could end up a top 250 4* when all is said and done. But either way, consider that Kirby, Saban, and Pruitt all extended commitable offers...that is telling.

Saban didn't extend a committable offer. Not saying Logue is a mediocre prospect, but that statement is untrue.

Logue commits to UGA, Hank South says he wasn’t being pursued by Bama. A few weeks earlier, Rusty said Logue was actively being recruited by Bama and UGA, with Tennessee trying to get back in the running. Who knows and who really cares?

Well, for one, our mods and "insiders" have never said Alabama was actively recruiting Logue. He got his offer during a visit on June 20th with the expectation he would return in July for camp.
Alabama is "all in" on Siaki Ika, Ishmael Sopsher, DeMarvin Leal and potentially Faatui Tuitele to finish out their DL recruiting.
That doesn't diminish Logue in either way, Alabama just has guys higher on the board than him. Hell, Tuitele is a 5-star and he doesn't have the green light to commit at the moment.
From Hank South further down in the thread you spoke of:

Not to say they aren't interested, just have guys higher on the board.

Preciate the input Tide. I may have gotten bad intel...what I heard was that much like at Georgia, he camped/worked out, and got his offer. Typically those camp offers hold some weight.
Hard to imagine you guys wouldn't take him over someone like Reshad Cheney.

Cheney is an Alabama commitment in name only.
Almost everyone plugged in to Alabama recruiting has said he will not be in this class. At least 2 of the main "insiders" I trust have said he has not spoken to the staff in weeks.
If you check the first page of the recruiting thread on our board you'll see he isn't listed as one of our commits. It's been that way for awhile now.

I wouldn't call it "bad" intel. Alabama just has some guys higher on the board than Logue at this time. Hell, no one even knew who Christian Barmore was at this stage last year.

Thanks for clearing things up. I'll talk to Kirby if you guys are interested in trading one 5* DT for one of our 5* LBs

Logue going to severely hurt our avg ranking per player.
True. But Monty Rice, Matt Landers, and Akhil Crumpton all hurt our avg ranking in 2017 so

I have heard good things on walker lately, you can hate this comment, but i was told we have flipped walker as of now but lost mcclendon. The family pull to play with the wonnums (his cousins and family is very close) is strong on walker, as is the legacy on mcclendon at UGA.
Edit: i never post if it isnt legit

If that’s true, there’s going to be some major heat on Tray Scott by the UGA fans.
We’re recruiting great at every other position. DT is just drastically weaker than everything else.

Losing Walker would be bad enough but losing him to Carolina would be inexcusable

This is correct. Some said they felt he was too tall to play DT. If you notice, most DT are 6'2" or shorter. That helps to keep their pad levels low, so offensive linemen can't gain leverage by getting under them and pushing them back off the line. If a DT can develop good hands they can keep the OLinemen off of them and push them down into the ground and maintain their position along the line of scrimmage.
If you get a taller type guy, he needs to be able to use his hands well.

Watching his film I didn't see him being stiff, either. but I am not totally sure what they mean by that, so...

You got that right. South Carolina is recruiting lights out along the Dline right now. Auburn, Alabama and South Carolina are pulling in insane classes there.

From a Rivals writer
"Lebanon, Tenn. defensive end Zion Logue spent the month of June turning heads at college programs all across the Southeast. The 6-foot-6 280-pound prospect wowed every chance he got, garnering offers from Alabama, Tennessee, Florida and several others. But it was a trip to Athens midway through the month that truly turned his recruitment and led to his commit to Georgia on Sunday night.
Logue entered 2018 with no FBS offers and his rise to a national level recruit has been quite remarkable. He said he thinks the coaching staff at Georgia is the best equipped to help him keep growing at the next level. "
