Wow. I am a bit surprised. I would think it is far from over, but I hope your Georgia sources are right.

Pittman won out here. As soon as we decided he was a definite take and we wanted him as one of our 2 or 3 OL prospects for this class, it turned quickly.

Just giving you a hard time. Only stood out because it was so odd relative to your typical posting habits. Appreciate the insights as always

Good news coming on recruiting front over the next few weeks.

All the guys mentioned over the last few pages plus the likes of Zion Logue, Jermaine Johnson, Rian Davis are on commit watch.

Zion Logue

I've seen his name thrown out there - what position would be recruiting him for? 6'5" 285lbs is huge for a DE. He looks a bit sluggish in his highlights, probably from all that weight.

Alabama just offered, so there is obviously something there. His size just puts him in between positions, in my opinion.

Likely recruiting him as a DT. I know it's popular to say that we have to get some of these 6'0" 310lbs. "Interior" guys, but it really seems that Kirby and staff prefer the big body guys that can flex inside or out.

Logue has been a fast riser. Will be interesting to see where his ranking ends up. Reminds me a bit of Christian Barmore last year (as a recruit, not as a player, if that makes sense)

Newsletter said the other day DJ Daniel could pop any day, and Rian Davis and Jermaine Johnson could before August. That's three big ones.

He would probably put on another 10-15 LBS easily. He would be a gap plugging DT. We really need Walker. he might be the biggest need right now, imo.

Forgot to include DJ. Agree that he could come at any time. Big time player that will compete for time immediately.

Every position that was a weakness is systematically becoming a strength.

OL speaks for itself.
Secondary is transforming right now.
DL will cross the threshold with the 2020 class.

Our roster management is second to none at this point.

His weight says he's a DT, but pad-level is important there and he is already over 6'5". Interesting to see what he turns into.

Gaining a little weight puts him in DT territory, but losing 20 or 30 pounds puts him at prototypical DE size.

I think we have 3 or 4 silents that Kirby wants to have them announce from the new stadium recruiting center

True. At that height, he would need to be very good using his hands.

Again, I agree, but we need the DT much more than a DE.
I would rather they work to get him to be very efficient using his hands to keep Olinmen off of him, and and keep him at DT. It might be risky, but we really need a DT. A good, strong DT.
