This site has a pretty good grasp of who is and who is not on the Hot Seat. They think Harbaugh is #6 in the country for being on the Hot Seat....which is pretty high.

Does anyone think that Thompson not getting drafted after being the top player in the country out of HS is being used against us in negative recruiting?
When's the last high draft pick at interior DL we've had?

Last one was John Jenkins in the third round of the 2013 draft.

That's a powerful recruiting tool.
We were ranked 6 in total defense and 20 against the run. NC State was 58 in total defense and 26 against the run. Thompson wasn’t the starting DT, Clark was. This is the recruiting tool that’s gonna bring in top talent come signing day.

Re: CJ Clark, it does seem NCST will be the pick.
Frustrating on the surface, but I'm withholding judgement until signing day when it comes to our interior DL class.

I would be shocked if it wasn't. Wouldn't you use it?

Absolutely. I think that coupled with Chubb's high pick created a leverage point that may have cost us Clark.

Right. I would love to have Clark, but for me the key is going to be Trayvon Walker. I understand that Clark is more of a 0 technique and will play in the middle, and Walker is more of a 3 and/or 5. I would lvoe to have both, but if I had to choose, I would choose Walker.
Maybe this is all smoke and we still get Clark. Only time will tell. A big key with Clark might be how Tyler Clark plays. I would dearly love to see Michail Carter develop and contribute this year, too.

Nc state starting DL all drafted 5,69,84,128.

Not too shabby and worth noting. I thought it was you that mentioned it earlier.

Still can't figure out SC put 35 pts on em last year and they also had more players drafted overall than we did.

The only thing I can guess is that it was the first game of the season. SC still had their explosive WR (Deebo Samuel).

Got me to thinking so I looked the game up. Samuel caught 2 TD passes. He's a game changer, for sure.
As for the draft? The NFL sometimes will go by potential, but I'd imagine the NC State defense was strong up front and really weak at CB and S. Just a guess, though.

Barely... Trying to keep my head above water here through busy season. Should free up a little more at the end of July. Weird timing this year compared to years past...

That's just some frickers doing their best ball park guessing.

I don’t think harbaugh is on any kind of hot seat. By to mention that they should have a really solid squad and season this year.

He finally has a good qb in Patterson. They'll win 10 ball games this year.

Maybe, but if you follow them over the years they pretty much nail them. I've heard a lot of chatter that the Michigan faithful are getting restless, too.
You are right, though. It is somebody's opinion.

They should. They return almost their entire starting lineup from last season. But, if he keeps losing to OSU.....They didn't hire him to finish 2nd in the B1G and lose to OSU every year.

Quick question, how many pages do I need to go back to find the latest recruiting news? TIA

Probably quite a few. There hasn't been any in forever before the latest two commits. Have you signed up for the newsletter? It has a ton of good information in it...it's free...but can be a little inconsistent coming out.
