Looks like we might be adding a grad transfer to the D-Line in Jay Hayes, who has played at ND and recently committed to Oklahoma before attending G-Day.

247 put that up today and immediately removed the article.

Sounds like a numbers move that can only help us. Either he's a really good player and will contribute immediately or he's not very good and he'll give us depth in case of injuries.
No lose proposition because we already have proven talent there.

Don't think Kirbs would be processing players for this reason

The decision has not be made and the article was posted because the journo was trigger happy. My guess

Going back to the running back conversation, Trey Sanders apparently had some good things to say about UGA after G-Day.
Any realistic chance we could become a major player in that race? Looks like a UF-FSU-Miami competition right now.

Trey’s brother accepted a PWO offer from Florida, so ultimately I think that’s where he goes. FSU and UGA are going to make UF work for it

Oh yea especially when we shut them out this year, and return to the SECCG

Sanders would be a great pickup, but there are others that would be nice, too. John Emery and Daniel Carter to name a couple.

We have had success with IMG (Nauta, Nolan Smith). Maybe Nolan will get in his ear over the recruitment. He seems like a guy that is all in and could be a LeCounte-type leader for the class.

He's been pretty solid to UF for a while. Once they added his brother I think most pundits thought it was locked up. That being said, never give up in a recruiting battle. I also believe Sanders mom likes the Gators so it's a tough one.
As for running backs, what are our biggest options besides Sanders and Crouch?
