The semantics aren’t worth a long argument here so we can simply agree to disagree.
Perhaps I can rephrase...Solomon is a guy who has been as or more productive as any of our returning guys at his position, and is a guy who was highly coveted by our staff, who viewed him as a difference maker up front.

Nope, I put the numbers up above. His productivity is about what Muckle had in limited snaps over his first two seasons, less than the others had in their first two years, less than David Marshall in his first two seasons also. I know he was highly coveted out of HS, but it's not a given that he was as highly coveted this go round. We're pretty tight on scholarships for next season right now.

Also the first game against Auburn last year he abused our Oline.
Yeah, and he got blown up in the SEC title game. He got pancaked by Ben Cleveland. He got blown up in this year's game. Auburn's defensive line is mediocre, despite the fact that it was supposed to be great.

He's going to be a top 15 pick.
Doesn't mean he's lived up to the hype in college. Maybe I'm overstating it. I expected the guy to be a beast. He's not that. Nobody in the college football media rarely mentions him the way they do the Bama or Clemson DL. In fact, I'm not sure he's the best guy on their DL. That may be Dontavious Russell.

Hill, Mays, Sayler, Cleveland, Erickson will whip his arse in 2020.

Not to hijack you guys’ argument, but is Plumlee still a solid commit? I feel like folks were saying he might be wavering.
Just watched some more of his film (I hadn’t in a long time) and he’s pretty impressive. Would be good to have him on the roster.

Haven't heard otherwise. We asked him to blueshirt, so he has time to look around and is doing so.

I'm with you, man. He would be a good addition. Hope we keep him.

Why blue shirt Plumlee and take Dwan? Are not that confident Plumlee can be a starter down the road? Seems like a big risk at a need position.

I like Plumlee’s film but would be surprised if he signed with us at this point. Ole Miss most likely.

Plumlee wants to play baseball his senior year, and we wanted a QB who could come in the spring and learn the offense.
I like Plumlee a little more than Dwan, but I am not very good at evaluating QB's to be honest. Plumlee just looks a little more polished and moves well, while Dwan seems a little awkward at times like he is still growing and getting used to his body. Like I said, though, I am not very good at QB's so I defer to the coaches.

My guess is that Plumlee goes elsewhere. I hope Bennett is able to add some bulk because he may be our #2 for 2018. Maybe Matthis can bulk up and get somewhat ready since he's an EE, but Bennett and even Downing are a lot more familiar with our offense.

You seem to have a better feel for players, so i bow to your superior knowledge.

Well, I hate that. Hope he chooses to stick with us.

I REALLY hope we hang on to Plumlee because he seems like the heir apparent to me. Notice how we're only interested in guys who are dual threats now? I really think Plumlee is a winner and think he has more upside than Dwan.

Dang, the alabama recruiting thread seems obsessed about UGA. They seem to talk about us more than about their own business.

On SEC rant Bama fans start about 15 threads a day telling everyone how unscared they are of UGA. They talk about us more than we talk about us

Bama football is pretty much their biggest achievement in life.

Regarding Plumlee,
Seems to me he is coming into an even better situation.
He was coming in behind Fromm and Fields.
Now he's coming in behind Fromm and some random guy. And Stetson.
