Probably have to offer Ansley or Raymond Co-DC because you have to PAY those guys a lot - competition for their services will be
Fierce.

Would we be able to get either of those guys without offering them the DC position?
Nope

Yep. We have now been twice cucked by Aubrey

Meh. UT is thin on DL talent. We aren’t, probably didn’t want to transfer to UGA and run the risk of limited playing time.

He has no competition at UT. Not sure what kind of player they are getting anyway.

Well shite. That kid and Derrick Brown really are one in the same.

This one isn’t a meh...Solomon is an elite talent that UGA wanted desperately on two occasions.
Very very disappointing. That is a position of need for us as much as it is for them.

Those two just wanted nothing to do with UGA. Brown hasn't lived up to his ranking at Auburn and Solomon won't either.

He is a great talent that will at best go 8-4 before he graduates.
So with that said, Meh. Better than Bama

Brown has definitely lived up to is ranking at Auburn. Just like Solomon will too, he just didn’t want to come to UGA

All I saw was him get abused by our OL. For a #4 recruit at his position in the nation and #1 in Georgia, I haven't seen anything out of him that lives up to that. In fact, Auburn's supposed great defensive front wasn't even close to great.
I would have loved to get Solomon, but the kid wants nothing to do with us. So be it.

Well that kind of sucks, also guess the rumors of him/his mom hating Rocker were bogus.

No, they just hated UGA.

This is 100% false. He's going to be a top 15 pick. Also the first game against Auburn last year he abused our Oline.

I'm going out on a limb and say you quoted the wrong person?

.Solomon is an elite talent
How are you defining elite? Not every 5 star recruit is an elite talent once they get to college. Jordan Davis was a 3 star recruit who has 25 tackles in 11 games as a freshman. Tyler Clark was a 4 star who had 62 tackles in 27 games in his first two seasons. Rochester was a 4 star who had 58 tackles in 28 games in his first two seasons. All of those guys have better credentials than Solomon through his first two seasons.
After two seasons at UM, Solomon has 24 tackles in 18 games. His stats are close to Daquan Hawkins Muckle's first two seasons, 21 tackles in 17 games, than the three players above. Maybe Solomon will end up doing well, but after two seasons the elite label hasn't been earned.

As a true freshman, Solomon played limited snaps behind several highly drafted upper class men.
As a sophomore he was injured most of the season. In his limited opportunities he has produced at a high level.

Well, if you're throwing around the elite label, at some point it has to be earned, not inherited from recruit rankings. Maybe he will be, but he's played 18 games and hasn't done it yet.
