Doug Nestor. Didn’t sign today. Is a February option for sure...
My thoughts, too. Probably take him this year if possible and then concentrate on tackles next year. (We also already have a big time Tackle target committed to us for next year.)
ETA
Just checked and Nester is shown as committed, but not signed right now.

So is Haselwood still recruitable?
I mean, if he sent in his LOI today and is anoumcing January it is over.
Heard he was just signing financial paperwork today but he has 60 hours or so left or he'll have to wait till 2/5 if he hasn't signed a LOI yet.

Speaking of Nester...I saw he is 6'6.5" tall. Does anybody know if he would be a candidate to move to tackle?
Oline is a bit of a weakness for me to judge as to which position a kid is suited for.

That’s the idea.
Think Cade Mays in terms of positional flexibility.

That would be great! Thanks!
I knew tackles typically needed longer arms to keep fast DE's from running around them, but was not sure where Nester fit in there. It would also be nice if we could keep Mays in at guard. He seems to be a mauler in close.

Any update on Sanders?
247 still not showing his LOI in. Some Alabama posters saying one of their insiders saying it is in, though, so who knows.

He's a 2020 kid, but he did not commit to us today. Is that what you are asking?

Honestly we dont want or need him that bad. Will he be a star, probably but he is a diva. I hope we just stay away from recruits that play on Cam Newton's 7v7 team

it now becomes coaching.
I think Saban is still winning in that department too but he's got 25 years of age and wisdom on Kirby.
In the meantime, that fake punt and a few other goofs will continue to be a reminder that Kirby is relatively new. I just hope that he learns more every season.

Reminds me a little of that WR from the NW corner (was it Calhoun) that Richt tried to sign but he switched to UT last second. What the heck was his name?
