OSU shouldn’t be Cain’s leader if his only concern with us is depth chart. This is a really weak class for RB except the three already mentioned. There is a lot of chatter about Crouch projecting better as a linebacker in college. I personally would rather have Crouch and save the spot for a stud TB or two in the 20 class. If we can get another elite DL, I would absolutely do that over some questionable RB outside of the 3 mentioned

Nolan Smith visited Bama over the weekend. Is he still flirting with Clemson as well?

I think Nolan and Jaden are both going to take visits. Neither of them have completely shut it down. It doesn’t sound like either of them are concerns to flip at this time from everything most sites are saying.

Rusty has said he'd be surprised if Nolan goes anywhere besides UGA. Main question for him before last season seemed to be whether UGA would ever win at an elite level (Dabo was likely pushing this narrative heavily). Those questions were clearly answered by our performance last season and the recruits we have coming in.

Fine with me. I think what is more concerning is when a kid shuts it down, then sees all his friends and fellow recruits taking visits so he gets jealous, and opens back up his commitment with only a few months to go in the process. Kirby knows these guys' options are opens which just means he has to keep recruiting them, and he's the best in the business at it, so I'll just keep trusting in him.

I don't think you can count on any kid shutting it down with almost a year until signing day.

This. I'd be more concerned in fact if they had "shut it down" already... those are the kids that are virtual certainties to flip, and usually after it's too late to do much of anything about it.

Dabo is a puss! He is the worst about negatively recruiting other programs, and he also doesn't let a recruit look around if they commit to him

Nolan Smith

He seemed very shaky with his commitment early in the season. I though for sure he would flip somewhere else. I hope does stay with the good guys. He is too good to lose.

All the insiders say there is nothing to worry about. They say he is still recruiting other players to UGA, and also call him one of the leaders of this class. I wouldn't worry. It's actually good for us when all these other teams play round robin for 2nd place.

I'd be more concerned if he had "shut it down" to be honest. At least this way, the coaches know there is no room to rest where we stand with him... and it allows him to get in the ear of guys that are looking elsewhere. Still a long way to go, but I like where we stand with him.

It looks to be a silent commitment. He "has not issued a public commitment"

He made a "Committed to ATD" comment on Twitter a few weeks ago that had folks scratching their heads. If he's silent commit, he's not very good at it, if the stories are churning again.

He wants to commit, but he also wants to wait until one of the all American games for his dad

All the UGA/FSU/UF/Miami 247 mods have all said that Hunter's recruitment is going to be a roller coaster ride. No need to follow it for 11 months, just wait to see where the NLI comes in on signing day.
