Nolan Smith (commit)
Travon Walker (commit)
Dom Blaylock (commit)
Jadon Haselwood - Dawg
Clay Webb - Dawg
Darnell Wright - Tennessee
Nakobe Dean - Bama/UGA
Trey Sanders - Bama

I could see 5-6 if Stevenson gets a bump. I think Blaylock will lose his 5* even though he dominated this year.

That's what happens late in the recruiting season when you have shut it down and there's no drama with your decision

Don’t disagree. The 247 guys have struggled to explain why after 2 years, he went from a top 15 overall player to a fringe 5-star. He dominated his senior season. Really excited about Blaylock regardless of his ranking.

After repeatedly saying he is the most polished receiver in this class, and still saying that about him

Webb is a Dawg. CBs are starting to roll in for UGA tonight.....as they always do before a commitment

So Webb is for sure a Dawg? If true... truly incredible the O-Line talent we’ve accumulated over the past 3 years.

All the tea leaves and the wind and all that stuff is pointing toward Alabama being caught in a webb of lies.

Sure hope Georgia doesnt come along and decide to eat it.

If Webb commits and Haselwood gets back onboard... can someone explain to me how UGA won’t have the top class again? That makes no sense... clearly out recruiting Bama and is about to take over the SEC... only a hater or Gump dick rider would say otherwise imo

We will have a stellar class score.

But bama is going to have an absolutely insane close as well.

If UGA beats them for all head to heads (Webb, Sanders, Dean), then there is a real chance at #1, but bama could still lock it up with the likes of Sopsher, Thibs, Neal, etc.

The two programs are absolutely lapping the field though.

Bama’s class this year is legitimately insane. They currently have 10% of the top 100, and are expecting to add at least 3-4 five stars to that.

Our class will be great, and likely top 2, but Bama’s might be the best we’ve ever seen.

Yep. Which is why anyone claiming that bama is on the decline or going away in the near future is full on delusional.

Getting Sanders would be insane. I don't see how we wouldnt be at least in it with our track record of backs and Dell as lead Recruiter.

Don't speak in such a cross manner to TideSaint. He's just here to let us know that UGA will always be 2nd fiddle in recruiting to Bammer. Some of his good friends on the Georgia Sports Board will be along shortly to remind you that he's a great guy and doing us a favor by bringing his wisdom and pearls of Bammer dominance to our humble recruiting thread.

Well then.

Stevenson will probably get a 5th star.

It's possible, but the 247 Composite has 34 5*'s and the last 5* is Dominick Blaylock, so if Stevenson gets the 5th star, it could be at the expense of Blaylock. It is possible a higher rated recruit could drop enough and Blaylock and Stevenson keep their 5*, though...They usually keep the number pretty close to 32-34, though.

Without intentionally offending anyone I can provide some insight to this.

247 gives out 32 five stars in every class. They link it to the NFL draft's 1st round number. ESPN doesn't give out as many, but their ranking system is weird and it affects the Composite in a funny way. They only have 13 right now. Rivals is currently at 29 five stars, but they have one more rankings update to go. Last year they finished with 33. They don't have a set amount like 247.

So, basically, it looks like this:

247 5-stars - 19
Rivals - 29
ESPN - 13

Composite 5-stars - 34
