I have a question for y'all.

I've seen a handful of threads on your 247 board alluding to your class falling apart/coming back together based on Justin Fields potential playing time.

I don't want to get into a Fromm/Fields debate, but does your fan base (as a collective) believe this is true?

Like Bama’s fan base, our fan base is made up of people who make a lot of baseless assumptions about the way the world works and how individuals must feel or react in a certain situation. In short, yes there are many who believe this is true. Doesn’t mean they’re correct in feeling that way, just impulsive, ignorant, and full of hubris despite possessing little to no experience in the area they pontificate about. Oh, and they have internet access and a captive audience trapped in an echo chamber which they mistake for actual power and authority.

No our fan base (as a collective) believes it is going to take good qb play form whoever the qb is to put an offense on the field recruits will like..... and competent play calling

I get that with the offensive recruits, but they are talking about Nolan Smith being affected by this as well.

He just posted "Stay loyal" and that he'll be at our game. I don't think he'll be affected by Fields playing time. Maybe some other things but not that

Nolan will only be affected if something were to happen to Kirby

It’s an absurd assumption to think we’re going to lose recruits because of a QB “controversy”. The real insiders, who have a pulse on this team, are laughing at our fan base. We may have lost Jadon because of the uncertainty surrounding Fields, but losing Emery had zero to do with the QB situation. The same applies to guys like Nolan. He could decommit but it has zero to do with the QB situation. It’s all fan talk

UGA will land a top 3 class and probably will finish in the top 10 in the National rankings, assuming they beat UF. We were spoiled last year, and this is an emotional fan base. Losing Emery sucks, but it’s not the end of the world

Yea I think Jadon decommitted because of the lack of a passing game. He probably would still be committed if we were lighting it up through the air.

Spot On, I think that extra week gave our fan base to much time to dwell on that beating we took in BR. Good play the next 3 weeks should correct all this nonsense

With Haselwood and Emery off the board, a top 3 finish basically requires

1. Hit on all remaining targets
2. Zero unexpected losses/decommits
3. Absence of 1 and 2 for the other teams in contention

1. Haselwood is not off the board. He’s as likely to commit to UGA as he is Miami or OU. No one knows where he’s leaning, but I do know he’s paying close attention.
2. UGA is now looking at taking 24 in this class. Based on their average star ranking + volume, it’s going to be hard for UGA not to finish top 3.

If Fields is our QB, we got a shot at him. If Fromm is our QB, we dont.

Not true at all. He's not basing his decision on which Qb starts, he is basing it on how we run our offense. I do think though if Fields ends up starting that he is a lock to recommit to us

He said fields should play more. Connect the dots.
