What do you see in James Cook’s game to make you think he should demand playing Time over Swift, Holyfield, or Herrien?

He is our 3rd best rb.

Debatable between him and Herrien. Difference being ability to pass block.

I don’t think there is much of a debate in who is more talented

To add some sanity to this situation. We lost 2 5 star commits and basically pushed a few other guys out of the class. We still have the highest average star average on 247 and the 3 teams above us have 22, 25, and 22 recruits. We are the number 4 class with only 16 recruits. Pretty unbelievable really.

Saturday will tell us a lot about the future of the program on the field and in recruiting.

I would say at this point, don't panic, by things aren't good.

If we produce a repeat performance of LSU on Saturday, panic away, because things will start getting ugly.

You're guess is as good as mine. Why did Chaney abandon the run so quick last week? Why didn't we target our tight ends more? there is no rhyme or reason to any of these questions.

Probably because that is the game plan that was worked up and approved by Kirby. Never mind that the coaching staff could have adjusted the game plan at halftime and decided not to. It's all Chaney's fault. (I have to wonder if anybody knows how a coaching staff works, or how gameplans are made.)

I get what you guys are saying. Our offense is awful. never mind that we are on pace to break the school scoring record. It is awful.

We have the most knee jerk reaction fan base I have ever seen. We are targeting our TE's more this year than last year when we played for the National Title.

Our fan base is running around like our hair is on fire right now, but if we beat Florida you will all be on the Rant screaming about how we are going to win the National Championship, and insulting every other fan base on there.

(This is not directed at you, Nytro, necessarily, just frustrations with our whine crybaby fan base that overreacts after a single bad loss) I have no problem with some concerns, but have the stuff most of you is spewing just shows you don't know anything about football, gameplans, coaching staffs....and we could go on and on. But you come on here acting like you can spot the problem, and it is the OC, head coach, and so forth. The same tired analysis every other fan base gives when their team loses a game....yet you have insight.

A cocktail party win would be nice. Losing two huge recruits on the heels of an unexpected, 20 point embarrassing blow out would be nice. The expectations are high at Georgia. We should not lose by three touchdowns to anyone.

So when do we talk about recruiting in this thread?

I agree. But we lost because we had two blown coverages in the secondary and a safety got sucked up into traffic allowing another TD on a long run. It reminded me a lot of last years' first Auburn game. Just a lot of things gone wrong.

I don't think we bounce back as strong as we did last year, and I am not arguing that the team is as solid. I am arguing that we all thought we would take a step back with all the losses of experience and talent, and every time anything goes wrong our "fans" act like the whole world is coming to an end.

It's exhausting sometimes to read the overreactions.

Why do you always not include the terrible passing? That was the catalyst.

There are some good ones out there, and we have been tied to several.

Kenny McIntosh
Trey Sanders
Noah Cain
Tyrion Davis (LSU commit, but if LSU grabs Emery, Davis comes back in play, imo)
Deondrick Glass
Jamious Griffin

And a couple of others. I've heard we would like to get a big guy in the 200-220LB range this class, then next class has some big time guys thta we are in it for. Emery would have been a great get, but all in all we have a ton of talent and are having a hard time getting enough touches for them already. The loss of Emery stings but is in no way a killer. Nothing to be sky screaming over, for sure.

No, it wasn't, but it was a contributing factor. if LSU does not get those three TD's on the defense we would have won the game. Did Fromm's play help? No. But it certainly did not cost us the game as a sole factor like you want everybody to believe.

This has been speculated for months now, so it wouldn't come as a surprise.

November is going to be a very important month for us on and off the field

It certainly was the main factor. It enabled LSU to play the game the way they wanted to.
