Glad to hear it is just Troup then. Jordan Jenkins went to Harris County which us real close to that area and Tae Crowder. I guess we have gotten more than I initially thought. I remember Auburn getting Foster and a few others. I think Bray was from that area.

Steve Pardue had a pipeline to Kentucky for a while. He won 3 State Titles at Lagrange and then went to coach RBs at UK until Joker Phillips got fired. He came back to East Coweta to coach and retired 2 seasons ago.

He and Joker were good friends. I was trying to sell them team apparel 2 summers ago and went to meet with him at ECHS. He was the nicest and most engaging coach I met that summer. We talked for 2 hours and he gave me all the back story on his overall coaching career. His phone rang when he was talking about working with Joker at UK and looked at it and said "speak of the devil, that's Joker calling now."

Haven't heard that name in a while. Guess since Florida ran him off, which was during Muschamp's time there.
Yeah, there was a Granger, usually a good athlete, on that roster for a while. I always wondered why in the hell did those kids go to Kentucky back then. Thanks for that backstory.

I saw that. Got curious. Hard to believe when he was coach at UK he signed for 1.7/yr.

Aranda- 1.8
Venables- 1.7

Deyavie Hammond is a name to add to that list Fib. Whenever you get a chance. Alabama is loaded in-state with OL for '19. Like our chances here.

How many Running backs are we taking in 19? How bout QBs? We need some D lineman.

RB would guess 1 unless we have any attrition during this offseason (or anticipate it during next).

QB... good question. Haven't even started looking to see who is available. I think the current prize recruit at QB is Harrison Bailey in the 20 class... have a feeling he ends up a gayturd (momma loves her jorts)... unless Mullen stinks it up in year 1-2.

With Fromm on the roster and Fields on as well, seems more likely that we either bring in additional PWOs and give Stetson Bennett a scholly once his second year is up to round out to 3 scholarship QBs? But I could be way off... Will defer to Americus or someone with more insight than me at least... Just seems like from a staying under 85 standpoint, it might be better for us.

ETA: realized I left an "or" out of that either... either Stetson gets a scholly OR we pull a 4-5* cat locally IMO.

If no current RB leaves, 1 RB and 2 5 star QBs

He doesn't fit that system at all though. Not sure where he ends up now although I'd love to get his dad on our staff. He's the best recruiter in the state and in good position to land Max Wray's little brother from Nashville.
