Yep, and That was before we lost haselwood. We might have to walk that back, and not sure if they will want to forgive us.

Kirby better be damn sure before he starts tossing good players who have been staunch dogs.

The implication was misplaced. Maybe I used the wrong word and maybe you misread it.

Point is, Bama did in fact pass more in 2014 and 2015 than they did from 08-13. I was not wrong about that as that was evidence of a shift in philosophy.

Choosing a running qb over the pocket passers in 16 and 17 was also a different philosophy from 08-13, so even though pass attempts went down, the point of saban evolving still applies.

As long as Dallas gets 2500, we'll get Haselwood back. I have faith.

Dallas, you better go ahead and bump the next 190+ posts on here just for insurance. There's always some ignorant frick that curses us.

Maybe losing JH is a good indicator that D-Rob will return next year?

It’s not all doom in gloom. If I could sacrifice one WR for 1-3 dominat D-Lineman, I would in an heartbeat.

The only potential impact DRob has had on JH is the fact that he hasn't caught a single pass being spooky for WR prospects.

We have some time to try and get back in it with Haselwood, but we are outside looking in at this point due to our lack of displayed vertical passing game (Haselwood himself said this would be his reason if he decommitted.)

If we make it through this weekend without him committing to Miami, that will be good news and a sign that we can still get back in down the road.

I was thinking the reason D-Rob isn’t playing much is because he isn’t up to speed on the playbook yet?

That’s what’s been indicated. Difficult to just step in a complex offense and just start playing. Players have to show that they know where to be in practice. Otherwise everything gets mucked up. I think we’ll see more D-Rob after Vandy. I think we’ll see a lot more of a lot more after Vandy. Kirby’s a chess player.

He said it, but I don't much believe it. I mean, Miami and Auburn are considered to be #1 and #2 on his current list, and neither of them has displayed a vertical passing game, either. Now, Miami just changed QB's, so that may change, but as of now....nothing.

True, but you would think he could be given a specific route like a go or slant that we could try and get the ball to him. He's got the speed to get deep or beat a corner inside.

also, my degree and Hartman fund points respond to your sidewalk accusation with a solid "frick you"

Sure sign of an idiot. I know a multitude of people with PhDs and more money than they can spend that don’t have the sense to tie their shoes. Any degree is meaningless unless there’s wisdom to accompany it. That you think your money and degree somehow magically imparts to you some sort of common sense and wisdom actually prove the opposite.

Just curious, and I know this is a novel idea, but wouldn’t it be a good idea to ACTUALLY find out the kids reasoning, before commenting. This wild speculation is foolish beyond measure.

I do not believe my degree or any amount of money derived therefrom imparts me special wisdom. I was called a “POS sidewalk fan” which implies that I am a fair weather fan who did not attend the university. I was simply refuting that.

As it pertains to Haselwood and speculating on what may or may not have been his reasoning for decommitting, this is a a thread designed to talk recruiting on a board designed to talk Georgia football. When there is movement amongst the top prospects, it warrants discussion.
