Yea but if Javon Wims shows out this season, that definitely has to help us

Maybe. But I could see another school using that as saying how Wims would have excelled in their system and become a 1st round pick.

I think Wims got a ton better at UGA, especially on the blocking side of things. I'm just saying I could see teams negatively recruiting us in that manner.

Wims played really well all year and went in the 7th round. That fact would encourage no one.

If he shows out this year it will look like we prepared him for the NFL. We only played 2 years of Division 1 college football. It doesn't matter that he went in the 7th round. UGA could use that as a huge recruiting tool

AJ Green showed out at UGA and was the 4th pick in the NFL draft. That is what Haselwood should be looking at, not Javon Wims.

Before everyone overreacts, Hasslewood is planning on being at the Auburn/Washington game.

I bet he ends up in Athens before the weekend is over.

Wims was also not a highly regarded recruit when he came to UGA and wasn't expected to be drafted before last year. Not really a fair comparison.

Green played for a different coach in a different system. What does that have to do with today’s UGA?

Green was arguably the top receiver in the country, played well, and was drafted high. Haselwood can do the same, even under a different coach. Haselwood is more comparable to Green than Wims, and so is his situation. We’ll throw the ball more this year.

Absolutely. Seems like we got 2-3 that were really iffy in our minds. Was reading about Nakobe dean, and he said he might not tell anybody where he was going until he announced it on signing day. (December) Not even the coaches of the school he was committing to.

They also are suppose to be having OP's teammate Clark decomitting. That's going to put more pressure on him

The Auburn board has some pretty typical comments about his decommittment.

Like, forget him, he didn't have an arrest record so he wasn't Aubie material anyways?

he can read so he wouldn't fit in here?

One guy said something stupid. Everyone made fun of him. Nothing to see. We have fans who do the same.
