How tall is Hall? I think we are looking more for a Wims type receiver. Tall, Red zone type dude.

6'4" He fits the bill. has good speed, and hands, but sometimes lets the ball get into his body. Good looking receiver, though.

ETA
Weighs 192, so I would like to see him put on 10-15 more pounds to give him a bit more strength when going up for the jump balls.

Hall is a high school teammate of Matt Corral. I haven't heard anything about him since we moved on from Corral. I would guess this is a courtesy visit. Hard to imagine pulling a 5* receiver out of California, but recruiting is one area where I will never say never with kirby.

I meant if we took a commitment from Hall and Bush, but you are correct. If we took a commitment from Hall this weekend, I wouldn’t expect Bush to also be part of this class.

Yeah, it would be a very nice pull, but I don't think it gets done, either. But, I won't count Kirby out of it. And Bush is still a great pull. I have to wonder if we aren't bringing Hall in to put a little pressure on Bush for a commitment.

I think we would actually stand at 1 WR for the class if we could get two out of Taylor-Stuart, Campbell, Leon O'Neal.

I feel better about our returning receivers than a lot of people do, but secondary is a weakness that will continue to be attacked. We have some guys we think will be players, but until it's addressed we have to keep bringing in talent.

Obviously Americus is the one to go to for this opinion, but I suspect we take Campbell and call it a day at DB. I just don't hold out a lot of hope for Taylor-Stuart. I would be surprised to not go after a tall WR like Bush. That said,if we found out we can't get a serviceable WR, then maybe go for two top DB's. But I just don't see it.

While I agree, I think Wims success shows us the value of a good, strong, tall WR.

What is the likelihood that the good guys land both Walker and Reese? If you have to choose which do you prefer?

From what Americus has said zero. We will take one LB. I guess if both said they wanted to come we might make room.

As for my preference? Walker. but many people have said they prefer Reese, so I think it is a win/win, either way. Personally, I think we get Walker, but I certainly wouldn't be disappointed if it were Reese.

Slim to none... At this time, it seems most likely that we don't have room for Reese. AD has been lockstep on this one for a while now. Obviously, things can change... but as of right now, it seems most likely that we land Walker and won't have room for Reese. AD's posted multiple times his "final 4/5", and at least for now, nothing seems to have changed that:
Campbell
Davis
Walker
Bush
Walthour

There are some other alternate recruits for most of those slots, but if we ended up with room to take Reese, it would seem most likely to be because of a miss on one of the above OR a failure to hit necessary scores/grades for someone.

On the Reese/Walker topic, it appears we picked up a CB flip from Michigan to UGA for Reese from one of the Michigan insiders on 247. He is over 80% accurate, and most of his CBs are Michigan Related.

Does that mean we are getting Reese? No, but if he flipped his CB, and gets Michigan inside info it may mean he knows something we don't yet.

Also Campbell is looking more like a silent at this point. CBs have been rolling in from all over the place for him to UGA. I noticed the CEO of 247 made a pick for him to UGA......and it's the only pick he had done this cycle!

I saw on 247 that Nadab Joseph isn't confirmed to be enrolled yet. I hope that's not an issue. They also had him listed at safety on their prospective depth chart, which is kind of disappointing if it turns out that way.

I hope everything is okay with that. I read about him when he was committed to Alabama, and it was said that he would be an impact player immediately, even at Bama.

It says he is able to play very good at CB or Safety, but projects better as an SEC safety.

If Joseph was going to play safety and he doesn't enroll for whatever reason, we could have Reese fill that void.

ITS
Campbell
Walker
Reese
Bush

We took an LOI from him. Pretty sure if he doesn't enroll, he still counts against our 25

Just because he's listed as a cornerback on 247 and I'd really like to get several good cornerback prospects on campus for a change. It's been too long since we had a solid depth chart at that position. We've had some safety/cornerback tweeners, but they haven't really turned into lockdown corners. I want Smart and Tucker to feel confident that they can play man and turn the dawgs loose without worrying about the back end.

I mean last year we got Webb, Speed and Poole at CB among a couple others, and those guys I just listed have received good reports, especially Webb. Divaad, Chris Smith, and Tyson Campbell will be one hell of a CB class and we still have a shot at ITS. I feel like STAR could be the biggest question mark to fill next year (In the secondary), so if Nadab could come in and fill it that'd be a big relief.

I'm with you that getting more stud DBs on this roster is imperative, guys like Dom Sanders, Aaron Davis and Parrish are DGDs, but I don't think we'll have to start guys like that anymore under Kirby.

It's wd... No need to try and make sense of it. He's said in another thread that Webb is moving back to WR I believe... Something about a 247 depth chart article.

Provision 7 – Declaring Your NLI Null and Void

This is a list of reasons your NLI could be not accepted by the University you have signed with. It is important to remember, 95% of the time this will not be an issue, but just encase it is important you understand how to avoid these issues.

You do not gain admissions into the university – If you do not get accepted by the university, you will not be receiving your scholarship. Remember, by meeting the NCAA eligibility requirements, you are not guaranteed admission into the school you choose.
You are a NCAA non-qualifier – You will be signing your NLI before you get your final eligibility status with the NCAA. If at the end of the year you are declared a non-qualifier, you will not be receiving your athletic scholarship.

LINK

Not sure of the validity of the link but it looks like a NLI is not a scholarship. You get the scholarship once you qualify.
