Please critique my evals lol. I don't get much time, but I'm working to get more time doing that. He does remind me of Kimbrough. Same striking ability. He's gonna hit some folks hard if nothing else lol

However, it’s clear that recruiting momentum is rolling and putting us in situations with recruits we wouldn’t have been in otherwise.

We were there in June with most of this class, when everyone was crying that we were ranked in the 50's. 2019 may get close to being full by May. Definitely a wave of momentum, especially in-state. Fun run about to happen

Would guess that it's basically done. Haven't heard any new names worth mentioning. Trying to see how we get there lol.

Almost done with my board, so I'll take some guesses soon on how next years roster might look like. Guess I can link a spreadsheet somewhere, somehow

You have gmail account Americus? I can create a separate tab on my Recruiting Scholarship Count google doc.

ETA: Link here: LINK

Currently set to comment only, but if you gimme your email address can give you edit permissions. Just copy/pasted OurLads 2017 depth chart and removed seniors... left Roquan for now.

You average about a dozen post a year.

I think you sit back and try for POTY's.......
You got my vote this year

I'm in Albany all the time. More than I'd prefer. Take Plains to Smithville to bypass. Can get from middle it nowhere to Albany, without a red light lol

I kill those steak biscuits in Leesburg, then go grab a Tea at McDonald's
Grew up in Leslie, so I know lots of Lee County folks, especially farmers and plantation folks. Great school system.

Just sent ya rough draft lol

Let me know if you got it. I'm on phone. I refuse to go sit at desk and do it properly. I threw it together quickly as well, so it's got to be around a B-

Like your setup on that. Would be nice to use, and have updated chatter, etc. with it attached to first page of thread.

Would show insight to roster management, recruitment, and info proving how loaded we are about to be

Got it... replaced the OurLads copy/paste with your draft... we can update and modify formatting as we go. Highlighted Natrez in red... as I'd say he is a risk to not be in next year's class still... Also, added Ford as a placeholder in the FB slot - we can figure out a color code for PWO (non-scholly athletes).

I think it was linked in the first post(s) in last year's thread, not sure if it made it into this year's or not. Some dude posted a copy/paste of something similar in 2016 i think, and I just did the leg work to get it into Google Sheet and tweak formatting to work out better. Wish we could just embed it here, but easy enough... I allow open commenting for anyone with the link I believe, so if people have updates or changes that they see, can add them there. I don't update it regularly, but it's been fun to keep track of for sure.

LINK

ETA: I did link to it on the first page in one of my own comments at least: LINK

Where is Justin Shaffer? Don't see him listed at guard position on Depth chart.

Still a WIP... probably need to sub him in for Dyshon Sims spot on there, as I believe he's actually a senior this year.

I just don’t see some of these leaving for the NFL. I can Roquan. Trent, Terry, and Ledbetter could make themselves more money by returning for their senior seasons,

We really only need 4 spots of attrition besides the 2 likely. Roquan and Eason

Haven't updated those color slots in some time. I don't disagree.. but it doesn't change that they could... I will be updating them after they start declaring one way or the other after the bowl games at this point. No need to further speculate.

Look at the second tab - it has Americus' projected depth chart for 2018... Trent, Terry, Ledbetter are all on it.

Good work and would only make slight modifications to the depth chart.

James Cook will probably pass B Herrien because he's just a more gifted player. I imagine the RB depth chart will be

Swift/Holyfield/Cook/White (pending health) White would go to 2 if he's healthy.

Linebacker spots are a bit of a toss up. Natrez Patrick has graded out pretty bad this year on PFF so I would imagine he's beatable in the spring.

I also imagine Nate Mcbride will end up being higher on the depth chart. He's looked pretty good on special teams but seems to be behind a lot of depth but we will see if he moves up. There is no guarantee Patrick will be with the team next year but if he survives hopefully he improves.

I am still on the fence on Monty Rice- He hasn't looked good with the second team unit. He's a good tackler but seems to lack that gear needed to dominate. I could be wrong.

It's pretty incredible how much talent we return. There will be some drop-off defensively but offensively we could actually be more explosive.

fibonacci,

read your depth chart - thanks for information.

Questions:

1) DeAngelo Gibbs- noticed he was not on your chart at all. Are you anticipating him leaving the program w/ all the mystery surrounding him now between medical and not attending classes?

2) Nate McBride - was he just overrated? I remember it was a big hairy deal when we signed him.

Wouldn't count on Gibbs being back unless Kirby says otherwise. There's a certain level of give-a-shite that seems to be missing that would make him a meaningful contributor.

McBride has played a bunch on Special Teams this year. I think he will compete for minutes at ILB with Roquan and Reggie leaving but guys like Rice and Taylor and (assuming he returns with his head straight) Natrez have more live action experience at this point. Could see him and Rice owning both starting ILB spots in 2019.
