why do you always spell it "DaWG"? Just curious.

He is an alter, hence the 27 posts and Dec 2017 member date and he is already posting up in the recruiting thread like he's been here for 10 years. Think who would troll you on here with the WG capitalized.

Actually, I must have been born to be a DaWG fan, lol

My real life initials are D.W.G, so they go together with DaWG like PB & J. That's why I cap the DWG

No alter here, one account, that's it, I don't troll anybody, ever. I have kept up with the recruiting thread for quite a while, because I'm a rabid DaWGfan (DaWGfan01 was actually my original Gtag on Xbox live when it came out in 2002).

So I'm not trolling here, rest assured, just a fellow DaWG.

Give the guy the benefit of the doubt until he starts trolling. Do you guys remember the dude that used to be on here that was like a roster management specialist? He understood all the rules about back counting and all that good stuff? The reason I ask is that I don’t think we have 24 or 25 scholarship Seniors graduating. I am only counting around 15 or 16. I think we may have transfers and Roquan leaving early. Do we think we are going to have that much attrition?

Well, Payne was injured for the SECCG I think. Hell graduate this year though. I don't believe we have another scholarship FB at present but could be wrong.

Obviously Kirby and staff have a good idea of how many ships we'll have on NSD, but its fluid based on attrition due to transfers, possible academic casualties, declaring early, medical DQs, ect as well as guys who have exhausted their eligibility, heck the staff probably isn't even exactly sure how many ships we'll have to give out on NSD right now.

I certainly hope we can get at least 24 (great to get the full 25) because there are some studs that hopefully want to join the Kirby Express in the 2018 class like Reese, Bush, Walker, ITS, Campbell, Goodrich, Thompson, ect. I know we can't fit all in but I want as many as we can get at UGA next year.

I Especially Reese (his film is unbelievable), a top tier DT and a shut down corner.

Neither on scholarship.

I count 4 left, after adding the 20, but I'm sure there would be another unknown.

Will the DT Jordan Davis sign with the Dawgs? He hasn't signed yet and I see he is now a 4-star. I thought at one time he was a 3-star.

Pretty confident neither of those are on scholarship. At least they weren't for this year.

Sentell says that we sent him an LOI during ESP, but was not signed. Not sure the reason or if it was even accurate from Sentell. He's a low four star, but he's got high upside is the thought I believe. There's a really good three star out of Texas that TideSaint referenced here... Moro Ojomo... Kid is only 16 and has flown under the radar until recently. LINK

Would love to get a visit from him if we're uncertain on our DL spots at all. I am guessing Walthour may be a qual risk right now, thus no early sign for him. Also, Thompson out of Missouri is thought to be a possibility as well.

All good bruddah... Will go ahead and warn you though... There are some who will get finicky if non recruiting posts are made here.

Back on topic, didn't see anything in the way of commitments yesterday or today, so guessing those '19 possibilities may have been held off? Anyone heard otherwise?

Just guessing here...

Think Tindall wanted to be at or around Christmas, but went with everyone else. That non confirmed kept me between 19-20 lol.

Another guess/opinion on yesterday and OP (was no secret)
-Playoffs pushed back some maybe
-Late additions that sign in February need their moment
-Could litter them out through spring and summer (Salyer was a silent for 6 months).
That info I had on OP was going public around Christmas, although it was at the moment we knew we had him. Never had anything else solid besides that. Saw a bunch of hype other places and figured he'd drop, but had the above doubts as well.
My bad on not being 100%. Nobody's called me on it, but I hate to mislead.
Got my charts together and am ready to get in that '19 thread.

May find a way to link something on that front page to have a steady update. Being serious all the time ain't my thing. I just like the posters in the recruiting thread here.

I did plan to troll that crappy poster from his posts in a non recruiting thread I read. I'm no a-hole, well I am, but I'm considerate and know my manners. Would never attack any Dawg fan without cause. Several other posters can confirm, that was my intent from the time he set his own hook, by posting he basically knew nothing about recruiting.

No secret OP is a strong lean, as are several. 8 of 10 composite in-state for '19 would be Dawgs, if it ended today.
That's not counting Smith, who's counting in Florida.

Haven't gotten to last page yet, but we're bringing Luke Ford's brother in as a FB for a PWO spot. Not sure who else we'll have.

This is the post I was replying to when I posted the two players we have on the roster listed as FB's. Don't see anything about scholarship in that post.

My apologies as well. Didn't mean to imply that you think we give several scholarships to FB's either.

I need to grab some info on PWO's, so thanks for making me look dumb

Does anyone know if Payne is in the 85? I know Rodregobwas awarded a scholarship but unsure about Payne for the 17 season. I recall him being awarded one in 16 but I know that is a year to year thing.
