Not really. It was actually even more of a leverage point for schools than I thought it would be. It worked to UGA's advantage, but I still don't like it.
Kirby's public comments echoed my thoughts, and his opinions are flawless as we all know.

One or two WRs out of these three: Justyn Ross, Jaylen Waddle, Jacob Copeland (leaning Ross and Waddle, Copeland to Tennessee)
Saban wants two CBs: Isaac Taylor-Stuart, Tyson Campbell, Patrick Surtain and Kelvin Joseph are the main targets
5-star OT Nicholas Petit-Frere and 4-star OT Penei Sewell both have a spot. I think we get at least one of the two and we'll take both.
I shared this with Americus earlier, but there are rumors going around our circles that JJ Peterson and Quay Walker won't play together. I don't know if they have beef, but it's out there. We'll see. Hopefully we can land one or both of them. I know y'all are pushing hard for Walker and Pruitt is close with Peterson.
Saban wants a QB in this class and the only two left uncommitted that hold an offer are in-state 4-star James Foster (don't want) and 5-star Tanner McKee from California who is a Mormon and taking a 2 year mission trip immediately after high school. We've offered a PWO spot to a kid I really, really want from Arizona. He had over 4,400 yards passing with 57 TDs and 1,100 yards rushing with 10 TDs this season. He was the Gatorade POTY in his state yet only holds offers from Boise State and Kansas (offered today). His film is ridiculous. He's my choice, but if we don't offer he won't come.
We may take Kevontae Ruggs, the little brother of our 5-star freshman WR Henry Ruggs, but he doesn't have a committable offer right now.
I hope we offer this DT out of Katy, TX, whose recruitment is about to take off named Moro Ojomo. His film is fricking filthy. Oregon, A&M and Tennessee all offered in the last 24 hours. I'm serious. Is the number 25 or 24. I've heard both numbers and I can't figure out which one is right.

He is the best that will actually play for UGA, Luis Williams signed in 2005 but went pro and never really did anything. Ashton will be big for Fox! I think Kirby recruited him though!

Fwiw-he deserves more than what he makes. Saban didn't just build a dynasty, he upped enrollment like a boss. Look it up yourself.
