Wednesday is going to be yuggggeee guys. Just call in sick to work.
Anyone going to the Sports & Social thing at The Battery? It's super close to home for me, so figure I'll probably head over from 10-lunch time... gotta be back to "working" at 2pm for a call that day, but most of the fun should be done by that point.

Also considering doing my morning "work" from there. GSB meetup!

Who was Jeff’s big surprise commitment?
Honestly might be Mays. Depending on who you ask, Clemson is still the favorite so if we got him it would be viewed as a BIG surprise.
(For those just following this board it wouldn't appear to be a big surprise)

Yeah... that's what I mean by overstating the "size" of the surprise... he'd hardly be a huge surprise in all honesty for anyone that's been following recruiting. But definitely possible that's who he is referring to...

It's not Mays. Its a name nobody expects at all.

Works for me... that would have been one hell of a shitty "surprise"...

Is this eliminating Parsons as well? Or is Parsons considered enough of a long shot that he's considered a name nobody expects? If it's not him, then I'm hoping it's an elite Corner like Campbell (or similar) personally... but that's just me.

Guess everyone will see Wednesday....lol. I'm on my phone or I'd post an emojee or whatever the hell they call them.

Just hard for me to imagine a name we haven't heard much about. That would mean it is someone who hasn't visited recently or at all. I guess Tyson Campbell would fit the bill, but hard to see him signing early without taking his visits.

Intentional? I can't fathom us taking ANOTHER OL beyond the commits we have plus Salyer and potentially Mays...

May need deeprig to run the numbers. If there is a secret surprise out there, I'm sure the numbers would foretell it.

We had an old coach, you probably know him, who coached at Americus High since the Great Depression and he told us how great that team was on many an occasion.
I told somebody years later that when we won those titles, I never took time to smell the roses....... His words
11 official State Championships as a head coach in four different sports. Several more as assistant.
He left Americus as-
DC with 2
Five straight in baseball
And one undefeated season in Girls basketball
Then segregation
He went and won everything possible, in building y'all up, so he missed the three year run. That's probably why he talked about it all the time. The coordinator that replaced him was HELL!
We always wanted a piece of y'all. Would of killed y'all on your best year
FWIW-
Daughter called the Dawgs on his son the other day. I've got her doing it Everytime
***** This coach and all his relatives went to Auburn for those that have no clue what I'm talking about.

was either A) he oversold the "size" of the surprise and it's someone that most of us were expecting
