Well, we are are all human. I'm sure at some point in his life he has been wrong about something.
This is what I am talking about. We have way too many jailhouse lawyers that want to fine tooth comb every post to find something...anything to make a deal out of.

Welcome to the internet.
I mean... I get what you were trying to say, but at the same time respectfully think you're off a bit... at the end of the day, does it matter? No. As I said before, I care a lot less about 1, 2, 3, or 4 and a lot more about where the class falls talent wise. If we're over a 300 score and an avg recruit ranking of 92, that's better than anyone in our division by a wide margin, and should continue to keep us at pace or better than LSU, and starting to catch up to Bama with regards to blue-chip ratio. Additionally, I like this staff's ability to evaluate, so if we reach on a guy who is a low 4*, or 3*, it typically feels like they have good reason to believe they'll have success.

I don't THINK they are taking exception to my take on our recruiting status. I think they feel like I disrespected Americus in some way. I tried to tell them that was not the case, but they were trying to nit pick my wording. They remind me of my son when he was 12 years old.
For the record, I have no problem with you, or anybody disagreeing with me. Your opinion is just as valid in my book as my own opinion. Probably more so.
I also appreciate what Americus, and you bring to the recruiting board. Any and all information is needed and appreciated.
As for the nitpickers....I suspect if Americus felt like I was disrespecting him, he is fully capable of defending himself and does not need for them to "white knight" for him.
I guess I am just a little cranky today.

I think the general consensus is that he'll likely wait. Not due to any indecision, but simply because he has the ability to do so and it allows him to avoid any unpleasantries or unhappiness if half of our staff were wiped out with the current coaching carousel for example. It's not impossible that he signs early, but he knows we'll wait for him, so there likely isn't any urgency to do so either on his part. If anything may come down to other recruits that he wants to join him causing pressure to sign so they know he's for real, but I find that unlikely as well.

Last I heard was early, but no surprise if he waits. There will probably be more chatter on that.

Seems that Bama is starting to put the press on Jordan Davis... any concern there or think we hang on to him? Also, any insight on Barmore? Sounds like his recruitment will go to a Feb signature, and we don't have an OV from him until after the bowl games.
