Ericson will be a true Freshman next year...while Galliard is still the starter. I think he'll be groomed to take over the job as a redshirt freshman in 19.

Agreed.

That makes sense. I keep thinking Gaillard is a senior, for some reason. Seems like he has been here forever.

I didn't realize Ericson is a recruit that isn't signed yet.
"Ericson is on schedule to graduate early from North this December so he can enroll early at UGA."
He will sign in 44 days and get a head start on learning the Center position for us.
If you want to read a really good article on him with some great "quotable" statements that you like to hear out of a lineman, read this: SUPER SIX: Warren Ericson
He is not the only guy that is impressive, but in relevance to our future OL, he looks to have the best shot at being our future Center. The guy who will throw a kink in the OL as a freshman will be Jamaree Salyer. He should be in there starting in Game 1 at LG, just like his buddy Thomas did this year at RT. Our OL is going to start looking like our RB's as far as depth, where we can sub a guy in and not lose much at all from one to the other.

Thanks, man! I appreciate your help and patience!
After thinking I realized that I was familiar with ericson as a recruit this year, but had forgotten about him since he had signed (I believe) fairly early.

Probably where you're confusing people. I believe you just mean committed... since signatures can't happen until at least December.

What do you think about Caleb Johnson, take or not?
He's a take. Sorry, I missed this until now.

What head to head battles do we have left with Alabama recruit wise? This gif needs a cause.
ETA: Dammit... just looked back a page and saw someone else posted. It didn't load the animated gif last load. I blame my shite phone.

Heard a few names that haven't really been mentioned frequently over the past couple of months.
Won't be shocking to hear more

now THAT is a great GIF. You should use it over on the Rant. Use it, and use it often.

I like our chances. Huge if we get him. Best corner we would have pulled in recent memory

As well as we can. We'll get to see how good a recruiter Salyer is. Remember his Dad knows these coaches and called only the ones they were interested in.
He knows Pittman's reputation and the stability in Athens.
Wherever the kid signs, seems like a great kid. Imagine growing up as a legacy, being the top recruit in your home state, then getting what those recruits/players are getting-
An athletic department that's been broke financially and can't realize having a Coach in this situation is killing that team/program...... But oh well.
Clemson feels good about every recruit mentioned. They have a couple of solid mods though. Well, one.

Saw your comments on the Bama board. Word around Thomaston on Trayvon Walker is that it will be a UGA/Clemson battle.

I appreciate that. He's a huge priority for us. I have family that has went to that school since before it consolidated. Been following football there for a while lol.

UTk folks are in denial that Mays would go elsewhere, and those who don't have their head in the sand stand firm that it would have nothing to do with UGA and everything to do with keeping the dumpster fire going for longer with a gigantic frick up at HC. Again.
And they're right.
And they're right.

Upson or Lee? I graduated from Upson in 88.
Trayvon’s mom was a good friend of mine.

Upson. You would of had to know a cousin (there's a few). My Uncle worked with the recreation Dept for years there.
